I am moving Maya to a multimuse @mostlydamned

⛧ – “Sounds very much like possession to me. I ought to know, I’m an exorcist.” And a half-demon himself, but enough insisting on who he is, and more on helping this woman. Maybe it would earn him something good in return. Yes, Daimon is full of self-serving ideas. 

         “I could get rid of him for you.” Probably. He never messed an exorcism before, but he had never seen the kind of symbiotic relationship the two had before. 

She sighed, “Well he doesn’t control me.  Or any of that other things.  Long story short, apparently my family like binding demons to babies.  Only they screwed up this time around.”  She moved to pull a bottle of whiskey out and poured herself a drink.  “And yeah, that last people that offered to do that said I would die.  So hard no.”

⛧ – Holding his trident in a threatening position, he watched the demon take form beside the woman. “Ugh. I hate demons. Especially ones who possess pretty women.” He quipped, not taking the apology. He hated whenever demons tried to gain a foothold on Earth. He didn’t take notice of the humans running away from the demons. 

Maya faked a small giggle and waved at the man a little, “Did you hear that Z?  He called me pretty.  Isn’t that nice?  But yes, demons are bad.  This one is especially annoying.”

“Child, do not make,” the appriation of the demon started before Maya lifted a finger and pulled him back inside with a few choice demonic words.

“I’m not possessed.  He’s just...stuck inside me.  And not really paying rent.

He watched her drink that shot right in front of him, eyes widening his despair and disbelief. “Wooooow! Really?!” He shook his head, even more bummed by the pettiness, but ultimately deciding he definitely wasn’t getting that shot and to play ball. It helped that she did, in fact, fess up first

“Infernal Twins Uxith and Orzirth. Your guy probably knows them, too. I’m no full on witch, but I know my way around magic well enough. We good?”

Maya nodded, “Little things that make the job worth it.”  Well it would be mostly be worth it if she could get drunk more often.  Z liked to make it a little difficult to do anything of the sort.  He found far too amusing to watch her try and try to get drunk a night.

“I do indeed-” Ziminiar started before Maya snapped her fingers as if to herself, “I didn’t ask you.”  She paused before shaking her head, “Not you.  The demon.  Anyways, tequila?” she asked pouring him a shot finally.

When she took his glass away, he sighed with disappointment. “Dude.” He was bummed at being denied his drink, but her curiosity was resonating with his own. Even more curious was the persistence of the twins, whom he decided to humor and listen in on briefly.

[Be wary, boy. The girl may be mortal, but the one residing within her is not one to underestimate.]

Their comments made him decide to be on guard, but he wasn’t too worried just yet. “You aren’t the only one with a passenger, so you wanna spill, friendo?”

Maya simply shrugged as she pulled out another shot glass and filled it with a bit of whiskey before knocking it back while bending forward a bit.  Was it unfair?  Yes.  And she was just petty enough to do it.  Maybe more than once to prove her point.

“Do you really want to tell him Child?  For all you know he could be here to hunt you.  Or me.  That would not do.”

“Demon King.  Ziminiar, ask your boys about him.  And I’m a witch.  So full frontal honesty.  Your turn.”

“Still could’a gone worse, my guy. A fake number is better than a real conflict. I can handle a little rejection.” He wasn’t quite sure what to make of the girl in front of him, but he could see she wasn’t ‘alone’, so to speak. The twins noticed too, and they rumbled from somewhere inside him but he didn’t pay them much mind. He had a question to be answering, after all. “I’m just a dude, standing at a bar, hoping to get another shot of tequila.”

“I would call the number before saying that,” she said with a heavy dose of sarcasm while glaring at him a bit.  Funny thing him thinking she was going to serve him and he not tell him what was going on.  “You can ask one of the other bartenders...oh wait...I’m the only one.”  She snapped her fingers softly with a few soft demonic words to release Ziminiar so he could advise her.  “I sense two more within him.  Two very old, and very powerful.  Also, I told you to quit ignoring me like this.  I will make sure you regret it next time.”   

Maya grabbed his shot glass and tossed it into the soapy water behind the bar.  “There are three of you.  Or you and two more.  So explain, now.  Or I out you right now.”

Maya sighed and shook her head at the man, “That was sarcasm.  Pretty sure you got a fake number.”  She had been too distracted for the night to really pay attention to the...feeling growing in the back of her head.  And trying to ignore the voice that was in her head.  Z was being annoying, even with a light binding spell put on him to at least quiet him down while she was working.

But the guy trying to flirt and get a number got her attention, and that’s when she felt the presence from him.  Three of them to be precise.  “What are you?”
