PLEASE  NOTE:  maddox  is  tethered  to  a  demogorgon.  she  is  psychically  linked  to  one  specific  one,    that  does  mean  she  doesn't  have  anything  to  fear  from  that  specific  creature  because  of  this  link.  HOWEVER.  that  does  not  apply  to  the  other  demogorgons,  demodogs  or  demobats.  while  she  is  linked  &  a  part  of  the  upside  down,  that  doesn't  make  her  immune  to  some  of  the  other  creatures  and  the  upside  down  itself.    hers  will  protect  her  with  its  life,  but  her  life  is  tied  to  its  own  and  when  it  gets  injured  so  does  maddox.    THIS  IS  SOMETHING  FEW  PEOPLE  KNOW.  she  is  very  hesitant  to  tell  anyone  as  she  doesn't  want  to  be  treated  like  one  of  the  monsters  knowing  how  el  was  treated  at  the  beginning.  she  also  doesn't  want  the  lab  to  get  ahold  of  her  (  or  her  demogorgon  )  again.

I  don’t  subscribe  to  the  tattooed  numbers  on  the  wrist  (  i  find  it  really  cringe  tbh.  duffers  u  know  better  )  so  Maddox  DOES  NOT  have  one.

Instead,  she  has  a  brand  on  the  back  of  her  neck  that  is  a  symbol  specific  for  her.  It’s  also  where  they  would  inject  things  into  her  when  they  would  experiment  on  her  in  the  lab.

ONE.        due  to  the  nature  of  the  source  material,  there  will  be  heavy  topics  on  this  blog including,  but  not  limited  to;  abuse  (  mental  /  emotional  /  physical  /  sexual  ),  brainwashing,  torture  (  both  mental  and  physical  ),  killing  /  murder,  mental  health  (  including  depression,  anxiety,  and  more  },  heavy  violence.  there  will  also  be  darker  characters  being  interacted  with  and  of  course,  please  make  your  space  safe  as  needed,  but  i  will  not  sugarcoat  anything  when  it  comes  to  interactions.

however,  because  of  this,  this  blog  is  strictly  21+

i  will  NOT  interact  with  anyone  who  engages  in  gross  behavior.  do  NOT  sexualize  minors.  do  NOT  age  them  up  for  the  purpose  of  writing  smut.  do  NOT  write  nsfw of  a  sexual  nature  if  you  write  an  underage  muse.  NO  INCEST  or  other  gross  behavior.  and  if  you  do  write  any  of  those  things,  please  DO  NOT  FOLLOW  ME.  I  didn’t  realize  that  it  needed  to  be  said  but  this  also  includes  being  phobic  of  any  kind  as  well. 

that being said, if you rp with ahoybats / inhaledlies please BE CAREFUL. like with the other person i have listed in my rules, i won’t tell you who to or not to rp with ( thats not my place to do, but i can look out for people ) but please just be careful. they glorify and write underage smut and they also make excuses as to why it’s okay.  they also bully and harass people who are not okay with it and choose to block them. i believe they are someone who is dangerous to the community with thoughts and ideals like this and honestly it’s a dangerous thing. 

TWO.        this  blog  is  MUTUALS  ONLY.  meaning  i  will  only  interact  with  people  that  i  follow  and  who  follow  me  in  return.  if  i  do  not  follow  you  back  within  a  couple  days,  please  don't  take  it  personally.  i  am  slow  and  sometimes  it  takes  me  some  time  to  read  over  rules  and  such.  please  do  not  follow  me  over  and  over  again  trying  to  get  my  attention,  this  will  just  cause  me  to  hard block.

THREE.        memes  are  the  best  and  easiest  way  to  interact  with  me  if  we  haven't  before.  please  be  aware  that  i  am  slow  at  these.  like  sloth  level  slow.  they  get  done,  but  i  do  have  a  full  time  job  as  well  as  full  time  anxiety.  this  blog  is  LOW/MEDIUM  ACTIVITY  as  I  do  work  mon-fri  and  i  am  usually  off  the  dash  sat-sun  so  i  can  recharge.

FOUR.        I  love  shipping.  It's  my  favorite  thing  ever.  I  love  all  kinds  of  ships.  I  do  ship  chemistry  and  I  will  not  ship  Maddox  with  any  of  the  core  kids  (  ie.  mike,  dustin,  etc.  )  as  she  is  Steve  and  Nancy's  age.  I  do  ship  chemistry,  and  usually  I  won't  approach  first  for  a  ship  due  to  past  experiences.  But  if  you  ship  your  muse  with  Mads,  lemme  know  because  I  am  10000%  sure  I  feel  the  same  way.

One : all replies / memes / starters will be QUEUED. The more I stack in the queue, the more I’ll have pumping out throughout the day. But this will allow me to take things as I go and at a pace I can keep up with. There may be the rare occasion I post something right away, but 99.9% of all things will be queued.

Two : i might be a little quieter on the ooc front than I usually am. I know I’m already slow, but my spoons just haven’t been able to replenish themselves lately and I’m running on fumes.

Three : I’m going to start using the block / unfollow button liberally. This isn’t against anyone here, and generally I just blacklist things I don’t like but this is to help with my own sanity. Now. if I follow you, I want to write with you and if we’re friends, I will definitely come to you first if there are problems. 

Four : due to a couple people stalking every blog i make, i likely will not be promoting any new blogs i make on the dash. it will be the only time i follow first but i will generally only follow people i know want to interact with me. i just can’t handle not feeling safe in my own space.

Five : I’m likely going to clear out my inboxes on all blogs and start fresh. I haven’t fully decided on this one yet, but it may happen just for a fresh start.
