And of course there was her brother watching her curse to the heavens, out of everyone in the world she hated him seeing her like this the most. Sure it didn’t seem like a big deal, everyone loses their cool every now and then, but not her, at least not before they moved. 

Everything was just too new to her and she felt uncomfortable all the time. She didn’t quite belong in Monsanto, not like her genius brother. 

She rolled her eyes, and started picking up everything that had fallen out. “How about you help me pick this up, and maybe I’ll let you have the hot sauce mom sent… if it’s not broken. It’ll go great with whatever it is kids your age eat.”

“Shouldn’t you be at school or studying in some library? What’re you doing here so early?”

Logan was well aware that this new transition was hard on all three of the Teague siblings. The thought of leaving their mother was something that dwelled on Logan’s mind often since they left. He was sure his siblings felt the same and had other feelings on top of that about the move. So, seeing Sadie upset about who knows what made his heart twinge a bit with sadness. “I need more than a maybe if i’m going to help you. I need a yes i’ll get some.” He nodded, picking up the box anyways. “For being centuries older than me you look decent, Sade.” he joked, since the age gape between them wasn’t too bad but Sadie’s always made it feel bigger. 

Sadie had been driving all day long, looking for a job that didn’t just offer am bar shifts, a better place to live at, and of course the stupid post office that her package had been shipped to. She couldn’t handle any more, not being able to find a parking spot at her apartment complex was the second to last straw, and the last, was this, her package hitting the floor just outside the her car door. All of the goodies her mom had sent falling out one by one as the box jumped up and down, she really shouldn’t have peeked.

“Fuuuuck, ahhhhh, whats fucking next? I fucking hate Mondays!” She screamed out in the middle of the street, not caring much for who heard. Now she had to pick everything up and still walk two blocks, plus three flights of stairs to her sad excuse for a home.
