I've just fallen so in love with a doll in the marketplace my hands are shaking. I never ask for layaways with people, I only pay up front, so I hope, just HOPE like crazy that I can pull the funds together quickly before he disappears. Please wait for me!!

I've had my name mentioned in negative bjd confession blogs, and it makes me sad, but seeing the comments underneath where my real-life friends stick up for me without any prompting just takes all of that negativity away and makes me feel like even more of a winner. Thank god for this amazing community. I'm really lucky to have them watching my back. <3

My fiancé just agreed to finally take pictures of our couple together instead of saying not til he gets a new face up. I’m so excited!!

Sometimes I like to just sit back and think about the amount of work that goes into taking the doll photos we see. It’s pretty amazing when you think about it.

Things Doll Owners Understand- Not paying one bit of attention to how much you've been crawling around on the ground getting dirtied and scuffed up in a photo shoot until you get home and then realize you've been out in public looking like you found a giant dirt pile to roll in. ;) This was me yesterday!

Omg. Stupid tumblr keeps eating messages and not notifying me of them! All the confessions that were sent in are now in the queue <3

I want an army of realpukis just so i can dress them up like brownies and put them in random places around the house.

Part of me wants to mark the insides of my dolls' parts with cryptic, occult-looking symbols so than when I die, they can bury me with my dolls and anyone who stumbles across it in the future will think themselves cursed for disturbing my grave.

I always picture MSDs to be the size of Barbies when I look through company photos. This also means I've underestimated the space I have for the three I've ordered... Oops.

I'm so excited about the Souldoll head event! I'd been lamenting on not being able to get the Vito boy I wanted because it was too expensive otherwise and they weren't selling the head by itself. Now I can have the head until I save up enough for the body! Thanks for letting me throw my money at you, Souldoll!

My dad doesn't get the hobby, but I think he's trying to support my interest in it. He bought me a respirator, so now I just need sealant! Too bad winter is coming. :(

Whenever I put my dolls away, I always kiss them on the top on the head first.

I haven't been able to attend a bjd meet for an entire year, but tomorrow I'm going! It's a Halloween themed meet with costume contests, spooky food, TONS of bjds, and good friends. I am so stoked!

I've been in the hobby for a few years now and I'm finally in a perfect place. I know what I like, what style, clothing, favorite faceup artist, favorite wigs, favorite bjd companies. I know how to string, how to swede, how to do faceups and body blushing. I LOVE my dolls. They're all unique and perfect for me. I felt like I would never get to this place but now that I'm here I'm so happy. Hang in there newbie. It's going to happen for you someday! :)
