Once again, she listened patiently to the creature’s words, nodding her head in understanding as IT spoke. Rinnah continued to pet IT’s hair, “ While you know so much of what there is, you haven’t actually had the time to test it out for yourself, to understand how you truly feel about such activities. After all, if someone was to tell you of their experiences, they may think them amazing, and you might be inclined to try, but could have vastly different reactions. “ She nodded and hummed. Another time, then, they could go out and find something to do.
It was a bit surprising, IT’s quick agreement to her request, but IT’s warning had her brows furrowing, mind contemplating whether or not this was a good idea. There was no explanation, just the plunge. She eyed IT with apprehension, but curiosity kept her in place as IT took a seat opposite of her. Rinnah watched as IT’s mouth opened, the first row of sharp teeth causing a hitch in her breath, appreciation apparent in her gaze. Then that appreciation gave way to something else; a morbid curiosity.
There were more teeth, more and more as the beast’s maw opened impossibly wide, IT’s head no longer resembling anything that she had seen before. Rinnah had no time to question, though, as the bright lights at the back of IT’s throat drew her in. She heard something, tried to catch the sound better, but constantly had her attention redirected. The skinchanger leaned forward slightly, jaw slackening.
It was so bright now, almost unbearably so, but her gaze could not pull away, and everything else faded out. After what could have been moments, or even hours for all her brain might be able to process, the lights dimmed a bit. They were not dominating everything now, and Rinnah could even start to look around. She was not where she had been, though, and neither was IT. Almost seemed like she was in a large cavern, now, which wasn’t too big of a concern. The lack of her companion, however, most certainly was. Rinnah looked up to the lights once more, and noticed a movement within them.
IT allowed her to slowly go into IT's deadlights as the kids called it. Allowing her mind to adjust to the new place, since IT for once was not trying to scare her IT makes sure to stay out of view until she called for IT. Who slowly walked into view, allowing her mind to adjust still, not sure how she might see IT. Since she was not human, IT had a pretty good idea that she might get closer to see IT’s too form and even coming out here less broken the humans. It knows that she still might be bothered by thoughts that are meant to scare her, this place was very different when it came to being.
IT communicated more with thoughts and sounds, and everything was happening all at once all the time. Unrestrained and free, a solid body wasn’t vital, nor was much else that restricted humans. It was a lot to take in the first time, but she wanted this so IT gave it to her. The only one that would see this place and live. If she could handle it that was.
Another beat passes and IT grows closer to her, lips not bothering to move as IT speaks to her or the first time. IT’s voice less human but more normal at the same time.
