Daphne giggled and nodded a little.  "And when you mean really studying you should include the subject you want to study too, just to make sure."

And you’re in a different year than me, right? Older? It never gets easier? 

Seventh year is N.E.W.T.S. year which means all your classes are a thousand times harder and it's so rough.

"Maybe. Either way, there’s probably not a lot you can do about it now. When is it?"

"First thing in the morning.  I'm just going to have to work so much harder the rest of this year."

"Don’t stay up all night - all the info you cram into your head won’t do you any good if you’re falling asleep during the exam. Though if you have a potion to keep you awake I suppose it’s manageable.”

"Oh, a potion to keep me awake, that's a smart idea, thanks.  I might have to see if my mum has any, although, knowing her she wouldn't give me any even if she did."

Daph, we’re not in the same year if you’ve forgotten that as well.

Oh right, I should be asking James shouldn't I?  I'm just so frazzled.

He studied her for a moment before replying. How time had changed the both of them. It was hard to believe that only two years before they could have sat and talked together until dawn. Now though, he could hardly fathom sentances. “Yeah — sure, Daphnie. The common room it is.”

How things really had changed over the years, but Daphne figured they would be alright, studying in the common room with others in their class or even just with other people around, although the older students knew and would probably watch.  She smiled though, they had been friends before, why not again now?  "Good, I've got my book and some notes but, they're probably not the best."
