“ oh, this? ” guillermo softly tugs at the end of his sweater, feeling the soft wool between his fingers. a smile breaks out across his face.
“ thanks! it was a present from mi madre a few christmas’ ago. she knows how much i love sweaters, even if it gets harder and harder to keep them clean. work, you know. ” the man let’s out a chuckle that borders on awkward && maybe even uncomfortable. he isn’t used to getting compliments, especially about the way he looks or dresses. it was nice for someone to appreciate his attire for a change.

there is a common interaction this season and its guillermo physically holding onto nandor when hes trying to leave. when he goes to the wellness center, he holds his bag back so he doesnt leave. at the wellness center he takes him by the hand and pulls him out of danger. when he helps nandor into his coffin to sleep by taking his hand, he hesitates to let it go…
this whole “guillermo physically not letting nandor go so he has to rip himself out of guillermos grasp” dynamic really drives home how all guillermo wants is to be around nandor. like he never tries to tell nandor how he feels because he thinks that’ll make things worse. guillermo is willing to put aside all he’s wanted for 11 years for nandors sake and happiness. he just wants the pleasure of existing around nandor. because that’s enough.

lips purse. he’s used to hearing these sorts of insults from nadja, but that didn’t make them any less grating to his ego.
“ i was just saying, ” the familiar bodyguard continues, jaw tight, “ that if you murder every vampire that doesn’t pay their dues to the vampiric council, or those who you feel is a threat to your authority, won’t that end up looking kind of … bad? ”
“ i’m just, uhm, surprised to see you awake. is everything … alright? ”
