Embers on the Wind [open]
Walking the streets of this unknown town, Chandra kept to herself. The wind was strong enough to float her hair off the neck, and the people seemed to only focus on what was ahead. It felt like home in a way, and that made her flame within her a little hotter than normal.
The edge of town was in sight, and a feeling of relief washed over her. Something about this place just made her want to burn something, and being out of it calmed her nerves.
Just relax Chandra, just relax. There is no one out for your head, there is no one who thinks you burned down a village. You didn’t but they would never listen.
Without knowing, Chandra started to clench her fist out of anger, and the fires within her started to stoke themselves. Feeling heated, the pyromancer took a few breaths and cooled off. There was a clearing outside of this city, and it looked peaceful enough to take her mind off of all this reminiscing. She started over towards the area, putting her goggles on.
Who knows what this wilderness offers.
