“What is up with all of the adults in this town suddenly making a shift in profession? Am I the only one who didn’t get the ‘become a shrink and psychoanalize James Dean and everything he does’ memo?”

“For all you know, I could be the new psychology teacher. You can’t make assumptions about my specialty just because I’m a teacher.”

"Sorry dude, it's just that you're the second well-meaning adult who's tried to tell me how I feel lately and it's incredibly annoying. I don't mean anything by it. And if you are the psych teacher, then your students have some rad movie discussions to look forward to."

“James Dean,” he said with a smirk, knowing she probably wouldn’t believe him. “Rebel without a cause.”

“That’s really your… I have to say it really suits you.” Tallulah said with a slight smile. “I look forward to trying to keep you out of trouble. and failing miserably.” 

"At least you aren't completely delusional, too," he gave the woman a little salute. "See you around, ma'am."

“Uh huh,” he hummed, unperturbed by the woman’s sudden attitude. “What did you say your name was again?”

“It’s Tallulah. Tallulah Mason.” Tallulah said as firmly as she could. “And what’s yours?”

"James Dean," he said with a smirk, knowing she probably wouldn't believe him. "Rebel without a cause."

“I’m not ashamed of anything,” he said, crossing his arms.

“Your stance certainly tells me otherwise.”
