(This takes place before Yuko's death 3 years later (also when the current Mudulo timeline is taking place in) btw)

Hana's death was a tragedy but not a surprise, she was getting sicker and sicker , even the doctors had lost hope in her survival.

At her funeral, only a few people close to her were invited. Yuko and Nobara came to the funeral first. They looked at each other and Nobara (To lighten the mood) says

"Wow , You've grown old but your face remains pretty youthful (No wrinkles on Yuko's face) . Are we sure Yuji's the only immortal ?"

Yuko chuckles slightly and replies "I could say the same for You , Kugisaki"

They both look at Hana's casket where she laid rested

Yuko says "I've never really gotten to know Hana-kun , I wonder why she invited me ..."

Nobara replies as she sits down on a chair in the second row "Me neither if I'm honest. Maybe we're invited cause we're Megumi's friends ?"

Yuko looked surprised and said "We ?"

Nobara replies with a smile "Yes we , Megumi values you as you are his best friend's wife. You're like a sister to him"

Yuko continued to look shocked but then smiled "ah , Fushiguro-san has a heart of gold"

More guests start to pile in . As they all are about to start with the funeral , Yuji slowly walks in , Hood up and expression not visible. Yuji stands next to Yuko .

They all prayed for her soul , Said their goodbyes and were present for the burial . Yuji's expression remained calm

After it all was over , Yuji finally spoke.

"I won't be going to anymore funreals...I can't..." Yuji says

Yuko heard as she was right next to him and Also did Nobara who was behind Yuko. The silence stretched as Yuji left the area.

Yuji was never seen again after that , nobody knew where he was . Not even Yuko....

It's been a year since Yuji disappeared and The higher ups grew more and more anxious about their strongest Sorcerer currently being in Hiding ? What're they gonna do if some big threat arrives ?

They called the closest person to Yuji , who was ...Yuko .

Yuko picked up on the second ring . The higher ups immediately started interrogating her before she could even say hello .

"WHERE IS YUJI ITADORI ?" Said one higher up into the phone , panicked as ever

Yuko responded "I haven't seen him since Hana's funeral.....he never came home with me after that funreal..... almost like he disappeared"

She continues "so no , I don't know where Yuji Itadori is . But I'm sure you'll have better luck with Fushiguro-san, Kugisaki or maybe Todo-san ? They are his friends so they most likely know where he is..."

The call ends with one of the higher ups cutting the call and smacking his hand unto the table in frustration .

After that call. Yuko sat on the couch . She lived in a mansion after all (So many benefits of marrying Yuji , one of which includes his wealth as the strongest) but nobody to share the big space with... Yuko was now all alone with just a caretaker...

Yuko's caretaker, Himari Sakuraba , came in with Yuko's meal .

Himari noticed Yuko's sad self. She was never like this before Yuji's disappearance. Himari starts to talk , worry and concern dripping from her expression and voice

"Ozawa-san , Are you okay ? Are you feeling unwell ? Let me call the doctor-"

"It's fine" Yuko interrupts "It's just that this old soul is growing lonely"

Himari's expression turns into anger as she says-

"Yuji Itadori....That guy right ? He was the man that left you alone ! I swear , he could become the strongest of all time and I'd still call him a coward ! It makes me wanna slap him so har-"

"That's enough" Yuko gently replies "Himari-Chan , I know you feel strongly about this matter but you have to understand his perspective as well . Imagine if you were the one immortal and had to watch your friends die ? Wouldn't you isolate yourself as well ?" Yuko says while holding Himari's hand gently

Himari calms down slightly and sits down next to Yuko

"Don't sit" Yuko says "Get up with me , we have someplace to go , Himari-Chan"

"Where ?" Himari replies , getting up but looked confused

Yuko gets up and replies "To the entrance gate , Someone's waiting for you"

As they walked to the entrance, Himari's mind was spinning . Who was waiting for her ? For what ? She's a caretaker not a public figure that has many people know her .

As they reach the entrance. Yuko stops and says "Surprise !" As excited as her old voice can sound

Himari looks and what she saw made her freeze , eyes go wide and for some time ,Forget the world even existed . As who stood in front of her was her husband .

Her husband was a soldier in the army , who she hasn't seen for 4 years . His name was Sato and he held flowers in his hands , His face while full of scars , Held that same smile .

Himari's legs started moving on their own and she ran to him and gave him the biggest hug as she sobbed in his arms.

"You're okay ....You're okay ! You're here.....I MISSED YOU" Himari said while sobbing into his chest .

"It's okay, Everything is going to be okay , Himari" Sato says while holding her close.

Yuko watches from far away . She smiles because she's happy for Himari but then her smile fades into a small frown . She remembers Yuji , how if he was the one who returned to her and came out of hiding, she would ... Nevermind, Yuko has to be happy for Himari here , Don't ruin it with tears Yuko !

She walks back to her bedroom and sat on its edge . She puts her hands on her lap before saying to herself, quietly

"Yuji , I know what you're going through and understand your position. If I were you , I'd do the same thing" Yuko says

"....But oh what it means to see you again ...." Yuko ends her sentence as she finally starts to cry.

As the sun dawns on a random Tuesday , Yuji lays in his chair , Hood up , Face hidden and expression as blank as ever . After all , Losing friends and being immortal can do wonders to a once positive and bright kid .

Yuji had achieved it all , Surpassed his Sensei , surpassed the strongest Sorcerer in history but now feels nothing but emptiness.

While laying on the chair, Yuji slowly falls asleep (You could barely tell , after all , his hood does a great job at hiding his face)

He dreams about one of his many memories of his wife , Ozawa -

Yuko was old , after all , Yuji can't age so he looks like a 20 year old. People would usually mistake them as mother and son , Which just made Yuko sad but made Yuji even sadder.

One day , Yuko was sitting on a chair taking her meds for some minor illness she had . Yuji suddenly came up to her wearing a suit and tie, all formal as if he's gonna take someone out on a date . He gets on one knee infront of Yuko and extends his hand .

"Ozawa, would you like to dance with me ?" Said Yuji , Full serious, locked in , nonchalant and full Aura farming.

Yuko was so surprised she couldn't even speak for 2 seconds , Then Ozawa bursts out laughing. Yuji was so confused .

"I'm glad you're happy but why the hysterical laughing ?" Said Yuji, Still confused, hand still extended.

"No No ! I'm sorry" Yuko manages to get out while laughing.

"It's just that , This whole serious side of you feel so...out of character ." Yuko says

Yuko continues " Yuji... I love you for who you are . you're an idiot but in a good way. So , I don't know who told you I'd like you for someone who you aren't"

Yuji looks shocked by Yuko's words , then he slightly blushes and starts to softly laugh . It was one of the few times he did.

"Okay Okay , You got me !" Yuji says while putting his hands up playfully. "I just wanted to make this moment special"

Now he stops laughing and speaks with a small smile

"We always get mistaken for mother and son . Each time , I thought about how you must feel so old . Like you can't keep up with me . And that must suck"

Yuji continues "So , I wanted to do something to make you feel young again"

Yuji then gets up and then says "Please dance with me , Yuko !"

Yuko smiles warmly, The smile Yuji loved to see .

"that's more like it ! And yes....I would love to dance" Yuko said

Yuji takes Yuko's hand and starts playing their favourite songs .

They start to dance together in the most romantic way but Yuji makes sure to take it slowly, after all , Yuko is still an old woman and won't be able to keep up with that much action.

They both danced together and for the time that they did. The world didn't matter, Nothing mattered , because now - It was just them , having fun and behaving like their young selves .

They danced for about an hour and thirty minutes before they had to stop. Yuko had to sit down as she was exhausted , she was still smiling but catching her breath as well .

"Yuji, I've never experienced this much joy in so long" Yuko said "It was like I was a lovesick teenager again"

Yuji replies while smiling "Glad to know I succeeded in my goal ."

Yuji continues "I'm so happy to be young with you again...with you ..Ozawa"

Yuko looked at Yuji , She had that same glow in her eyes that Yuji was so in love with. After all, she was still... Herself. She could look like the most wrinkled old woman in the world and Yuji would still love her to no end.

"I still have a surprise for you !" Yuji says

Before Yuko could say anything, Yuji picks her up and princess carries her to their bedroom .

Yuko was surprised and blushed , She stammered out "Wha- Wha ? What are you doing? I must be heavy, a-and I can still walk to the bedroom-"

"Ha ha, Old age hasn't changed you one bit ! You still stutter like crazy when you're flustered and you're still shy !" Yuji says while having the softest smile

Yuko couldn't even respond because she was so flustered so she just lets him carry her .

Yuji puts her down to bed and lays beside her.

"Get some rest" He says "You're tired and need it , Yuko"

Yuko (after some time) falls asleep as Yuji wasn't wrong about her being tired after all that dancing but then , Yuko reaches out to Yuji and cuddles him . Yuko was still asleep, so she kind of instinctively reached out to him .

Yuji softly gasps and then blushes again , He cuddles her back but you could practically FEEL his nervousness (Good thing Ozawa was asleep) .

Yuji wakes up all of the sudden . His heart pounding in his chest as if it was gonna come out .

As he was composing himself, he thought "My heart's beating faster than ever and I still feel butterflies in my stomach....I'm still in love with her even 3 years after her death huh ?"

He then goes and lays down on his bed (which used to be Yuji and Yuko's shared bed) and tries to go back to sleep . But ...he couldn't.

He tossed and turned so many times in bed but he never fell asleep. He tried everything , every method in the book ! But ...he was still wide awake.

Finally, realising what might help . He gets up and leaves his place . He walks all the way to the cemetery and looks for a grave, ....Yukos grave .

He found it , and he immediately laid down next to it , he even holds that grave as he thinks to himself "Yuko , I love you so much . You might as well take my heart, It already feels empty without you"

A few minutes later, he fell asleep . All it took , was minutes when it was next to Yuko

The cemetery guard saw him go in and saw him fall asleep next to her grave and couldn't bring himself to tell him to get up (What kind of monster does that to a widow ?)

But when early morning came (5:30 am) he had to go to wake him up as he would lose his job . The guard slowly goes up to Yuji and starts to slowly shake him awake

After a few attempts, Yuji wakes up . Yuji sees the cemetery guard and already knew what he was here for

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause anyone trouble. I'll leave" Yuji said , as he slowly gets up and starts Walking away (Something about his walking told the guard that it was hurting for Yuji to go away from the grave)

The guard yells "HEY ! I just wanted to ask you something..."

Yuji slightly turns around

"How does one even manage to sleep on rocks ? Wouldn't it be uncomfortable?" The guard asks

Yuji replies "What discomfort are you talking about? My Yuko's grave is the only place I can sleep,...a place my heart aches to be...."

The guard goes silent

"I'm really starting to lose peace without Yuko huh ?" Yuji says before walking away from the cemetery
