Cosmo didn’t have the will to keep fighting off this outcome, all of that drained gaia-knows when. The seedrian fully gave into her thoughts, ones that were very close to her father in morality. She wasn’t herself anymore. Maybe this all could’ve been prevented if she just opened up about her struggles, but it was pointless to think about ‘what-if’s currently. It wouldn’t change anything.
Cosmo’s voice had seemingly withered away over time, along with the twinkle in her eyes that used to be present. The seedrian was nothing more than a pawn, only causing destruction with each movement she made.
Slowly, they lift up their hand and would close their eyes, feeling the planet’s pulsation beneath their feet. Vines and roots would emerge from the ground and began to swing left and right in an uncontrollable manner. Vegetation grew at exponential rates. Once her eyes reopened, there was nothing she could do, the damage was already done.
