After dreaming for so long, we got our Sailrite LSZ yesterday. So excited for the projects that can be done now.

First fruiting of one of our raspberry bushes. Don't remember the specific variety, but it has a pale white/green flesh. I've been calling it the Blondie. We also have a Brandywine.

Bottom of Evenstar. She is in need of some love. We are thinking about bringing her in to a shallow cove in the next few weeks to try and scrub her down, but would love to put her on the hard at the end of the season for some dry maintenance and new paint.

First pumpkin flower. I’ve been trying to train our three pumpkin vines to be smart about where they invade. Will see how that goes.

Finally got to take the boat out again after a longer winter and some cracked fuel lines in the outboard. Water clarity was great compared to the regular 3' of visibility, which caused me to misjudge how shallow the water was, and we ended up anchoring way further out than we wanted in twelve feet of water.

Wasp stopped by for her photo-op, but was super twitchy with nerves. Eventually settled down and got a few good shots.

Another great weekend out. Running out of season and was threatening to storm all day, but we all had a good time.

I know that Evenstar is in need of a brand new coat of paint, which will involve a haul out. Something that I've been wondering about is how the entire paint and gel coat work.

Had another wonderful weekend at Stockton Lake. Had a lot of family on board and everyone enjoyed themselves. Not almost running into the shore or our dock probably helped. We were able to anchor really nicely on our second attempt and swam a stern anchor ashore. Lunch was some sandwiches, chips, grapes, watermelon, some bananas and lots of water.

An interesting read on lightning and it's interaction with sailboats and the sea. Answered some questions that came up today.
