Tho he looks like a kicked puppy right after (bc of his guilt of taking Nanoka's blood😔)

I was kind of worried when it was announced that the second ED was gonna be by Yurako's VA, that they would pull some kind of love triangle crap (putting Nanoka and Yurako on the same level) but i was pleasantly suprised, not only are the visuals beautiful(as well as music) but they solely focus on Yurako, her backstory and love for Mao

And the one time that Nanoka DOES appear? Its in the presence of Mao in the most romantic "pulls closer to self" way imaginable which most likely came from Yurako's own mind (given that we see her cry before this) but it still solidifies one thing that even she herself knows deep down: there is no competition and no one else for Mao other than Nanoka

In the anime Mao softly smiles thinking about Nanoka (and her safety)

While he doesnt do that in the manga

With what they showed us in the trailer i really didn't have high expectations for the blood transfusion scene but my god did they deliver and exceed those expectations

Like the way they expanded this scene?? Nanoka's blood flowing into Mao and turning into light?? Already had me going "they get it🙂‍↕️" bc anything that paints Nanoka as being Mao's light is great in my book

And then the added POVs??? The way Mao looks at Nanoka? And also before this the first thing he says after waking up is Nanoka's name? (which wasn't in the manga) And plus him smiling at Nanoka for the first time in the beginning of the episode? She's already his light he just hasnt realised it yet🤧🤧

And to top it all of Nanoka getting closer to Mao? Had me actually thinking they were gonna kiss (and I've read the manga like thousand times😭) and the cherry on top was Nanoka passing out on top of Mao🥹 (AND THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER THE WHOLE TIME AAAA)

Also another anime addition that i loved was how Otoya called out to Nanoka when she passed out🥹 AND SO WORRIED TOO😭 their friendship means so much to me❤️
