I'm tired... -_-

[ STORYLOAD//: Uh_Huh_Bi- ]

Hazel is a young 16 year old girl who ran away from her home about 7 months ago. Her family wasn’t that great, and she hated leaving her younger sister, her sister was like a daughter to her.. but she dreaded it and left with some of her friends. Now she was in a whole other state. The cops got called on her for being missing once, but when she told them about her situation, they let her go and informed her parents that she was fine. She lives in an apartment with 4 other people, they share two cars and they all have their license, Hazel being the last to get hers. 

One night around two AM, Hazel and her friends found a very large company building called C&A and found that the door was unlocked for some reason.

So the group went inside the building and looked around as they looted some things and put them in their bags.

Hazel found an elevator and told her friends as they went down it. The elevator was glass, so it was see-through. When they came to the bottom floor, the glass showed a huge dome with one lonely headset in the middle surrounded by wires and strings. Hazel was intrigued by the headset as she examined it once out of the elevator. She found a body tracking suit next to the headset as she put it on while her friends looked around the area. 

Her friends called out to her once the suit was on and said they had to go right then. Hazel told them to get a head start and she’d be up soon. Once they left her and the elevator was out of sight, Hazel walked back to the headset and slipped it on.

Everything went silent as she was held in a black void. She heard a man’s voice and saw glitches around her from times to time. Then she heard a song, it was a simple song, but it kept getting cut out from the glitches in between. 

Then she felt her body become limp, then standing stronger, it just.. felt different..

Then she was plunged into a bright world as she felt herself fall to the ground.

She landed on someone.. 

She looked around to see a bright world and strange characters around her as she backed off the person and scooted away from everything. A ragdoll person helped up the person she fell on. The girl she fell on looked to be based off a wood doll with yellow eyes and a purple outfit.

The girl looked at [ RESTRICTED ] intently like she was comparing someone to her.

[ RESTRICTED ] stood up slowly as she held herself, and that’s when she saw her body. She didn’t even have f[ B o i n k ! ]king hands anymore.. they were just orange cones..

She stared at her hands as a dentures model with eyes in between its teeth came up and got in her face as it welcomed her to The Amazing Digital Circus..

Everyone then told their names right quick as they went to the dentures model, who’s name was Caine, a ragdoll named Ragatha, a bunny named Jax, a jester named Pomni, a ribbon with a mask named Gangle, a geometric thingy named Zooble, a chess piece named Kinger, and a wood star doll named Izarra.

[ RESTRICTED ] was then grabbed by the arm and teleported outside the circus as she was introduced to the Tent, the Grounds, the Digital Carnival, and the Digital Lake. She was then yanked to THE VOID as she was told never to go there.

She was teleported back into the Grounds area as a moon thing started talking to Caine, then a sun on the other side of the sky started to talk to.

[ RESTRICTED ] tried to wrap her head around this.. a few minutes ago she was stealing some useless stuff with her friends, now she’s in a strange VR game where there are a bunch of strange people and strangers talking to her..

It was overwhelming..

Plus, she had to get back to her friends, so she reached up to her head where the headset would be and…

It was..

Gone..? 

She started to freak out as she tried to rip her face off to get the headset off. When she got teleported back, she started to have a panic attack as the world around her started to fade away.

She was brought out of it when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked up to see Izarra standing beside her, but a good distance from her.

She told [ RESTRICTED ] that Caine needed a name from her.

That’s when she also realized..

She didn’t know her name…

She, again, started to freak out as Izarra reassured her that that was normal. Once [ RESTRICTED ] calmed down, Izarra asked if she wanted Caine to make up a name for her. When she nodded, Izarra called out to Caine to get the generator.

A generator then popped out of nowhere as it landed in front of her and Izarra as it made around 3 random names before it landed on Kairo.

Caine asked if that name was ok, when she said it was fine, the generator disappeared as he dubbed her Kairo.

Izarra led Kairo off the stage as Caine explained the adventure. Caine said that he’d make the adventure a super simple one, the gang would have to find 5 Caine shaped pins around the Digital Carnival, and would have to bring them back on the stage and put them in a box. Once he spawned the box, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke as the gang all walked towards the door of the tent to head outside.

Izarra told Kairo and the others that she would show Kairo around, everyone else nodded as they went to the carnival. 

The two then broke off as Izarra led the way to the hallway where their rooms were.

Kairo asked what was happening, and Izarra explained that she was now in the Digital Circus, a place where she couldn’t leave. Kairo asked what she meant and Izarra said that she had been there around 4 months already for her being trapped. Izarra looked unsettled as she thought about something, but Kairo didn’t know what.

The two then walked down the hallway of rooms as Kairo asked about the X marks on some doors, and Izarra explained about how if you go crazy enough, you’ll abstract. But Izarra reassured Kairo that even she hadn't seen someone abstract in the time she’s been in the circus, so she shouldn’t worry. Kairo pondered all that information in her head as Izarra looked for Kairo’s room.

Izarra exclaimed when she found Kairo’s room. Kairo walked over beside Izarra. She opened her room. Her room had a bed on the right hand corner and dressers with drawers and a bunch of shelves on one wall.. for some reason.

Her room was mostly orange with some tan, red, and specks of blue here and there. She even had a chandelier in the middle of her ceiling. It was actually pretty. 

Izarra walked in behind Kairo as she asked if she was ready to meet up with the others. Kairo looked at Izarra and shook her head no as she sat on her bed. She explained that she got overwhelmed easily and liked to isolate herself.

Izarra sat in front of Kairo on the floor in a criss-cross-applesauce pose as she looked at Kairo.

Izarra said how she used to be the same way in the real world years before she got stuck in the circus. But she said she overcame it by facing her fears, and kept pushing forward.

Kairo looked at Izarra, and she was confused. Izarra had only known Kairo for, like, less than a few hours, and she was already pretty much trauma dumping on Kairo..

Kairo asked Izarra why she was acting so nice to her. Izarra responded that Kairo reminded her of her younger self. And that she wanted to be like how her brother was to her and help her. Izarra then stood up and said she’d be right back. She then left the room and came right back as she scerted to a stop as she was holding a cow plush.

She sat back down on the floor and handed the cow plush to Kairo as she said his name was Mark.

Izarra then explained that Mark was her older brother, and she used to have a cow plush in real life, and the first day she arrived in the digital circus, she asked Caine to make a cow plush just like what she had in real life. 

Kairo was confused as she held Mark in her hands.

She asked how Izarra knew her brother's name if she told her that no one remembered any names from their real life after entering the circus.

Izarra gave a concerned look as she tried to dodge the question by saying she would tell her later.

Izarra then stood up and told her that she would be ok, and that she could hold onto Mark for as long as she wanted.

When Kairo stood up and looked at Izarra as she tried to give Mark back to her, Izarra said it would be ok and put the plush on Kairo’s bed. Izarra started to walk out the door as she held Kairo’s hand as she led her out of her room and into the tent area.

They met the others who had the Caine pins as they put them in the box.

Caine reappears and congratulates the gang for finding the pins so quickly. He said that he’d hoped that the adventure was still fun, even if it was simple.

He then made the box disappear as he pointed the gang to where they ate their dinner. Bubble had a cook hat on as they said they prepared the food.

Izarra explained to Kairo that they didn’t really need to eat, but that it helped them not to go insane.

The gang then walked to the table as they sat down and began to eat.

After everyone finished their food, they went to their hangout area as Caine made it a bit bigger since they had gained two new members.

There were 3 couches, two chairs, a rug, and some tables to lay stuff on.

The gang sat down and started to talk as Kairo was then brought up.

They asked her what her special ability was as they put her in the middle of everyone, and made her hold her breath.

Kairo was hesitant at first, but then she decided just to do it. When she held her breath, nothing happened for a while, but then she felt like her back was itching. When she glanced at her back, six blue gradient tentacles popped out and started to flail around like crazy.

Kairo let go of her breath pretty quickly after they appeared to get rid of them, but they flailed around for a bit as some of them grabbed some people’s wrists or even legs. But they let go eventually as they all went back into her back.

Jax was very excited about Kairo’s ability as Izarra told him to leave her alone. Izarra told Kairo that she didn’t have the worst ability to reassure her. When Kairo asked what Izarra’s ability was, Izarra stood up and held her breath. Her bow, her braid, and then her whole body began to defy gravity as she held onto the couch to keep herself from flying upwards. Izarra eased herself down as she let go of her breath slowly and gave Kairo a ‘Told You So’ face as she sat back down and crossed her legs. Kairo sat down on a chair pretty clown to where Izarra was sitting as the gang talked about random stuff. Ragatha asked Izarra if she was ever going to ask Caine to do another rollerskate adventure, and Izarra said she would try.

Kairo didn’t listen really well after that, she just thought about how she was leaving her friends forever to fend for themselves in the world…

Suddenly, the lights cut out as the area around them all turned dark blue from the night time. Everyone stands up and says that the lights signal that it’s night, and most leave to go to their rooms.

Izarra asked Kairo if she was ready to head to bed, when she nodded, the two walked away to the hallway where their rooms were.

The two talked a bit as Izarra asked how Kairo’s first day was, when Kairo said it was ok for being trapped in a whole new world pretty much, Izarra said that she was glad it wasn’t as bad as some others first day was.

Kairo was confused, but didn’t press on.

The two got to Kairo’s room as Izarra asked if she’d be ok alone for the night. Kairo said she would be ok as she thanked Izarra for being so kind to her, Izarra just gave a slight nod as she waved goodbye and went to her own room.

Kairo laid down on her bed as she looked at Mark who was on her nightstand. She was actually shocked how nice Izarra was being to her.. no one was ever that nice that easily.. it always came from something else.

Kairo pondered on it for a while before drifting off to sleep. She slept pretty well for the whole night. But then, she heard a soft sob from outside her door.

She woke up violently as she had a small flashback to her old home with her parents. Usually, her younger sister in the past would come to her room in the night crying because of their parents fighting.

She went to her room door as she opened it up to see Izarra with her skates out, rubbing where her eyes were. There were soft sobs coming from her.

Kairo asked if Izarra was ok, quietly. Izarra snapped around as she tried to make herself look better than she was. She smiled and said that everything was fine, when pushed further, Izarra said she was still fine.

Kairo then asked if she wanted to come into her room, Izarra hesitated, but then scared slowly as she pressed a button on her shoes to make her skates fold in. 

Izarra stood in Kairo’s room as she walked over slowly and grabbed Mark as she hugged the toy.

She apologized and said that she hadn’t slept at all because she didn’t have Mark with her.

Kairo said it was fine, and gave Izarra a ‘Told You So’ face as she said that Izarra should have kept him.

Izarra giggled a bit as she tapped Kairo’s shoulder a bit as she covered her mouth to hide her laughter.

Kairo liked this ambience better than when the lights were on, it was more peaceful and quiet..

Izarra noticed Kairo thinking as she told her thanks for letting her come into the room as she wiped her eyes once more.

Kairo said that it was fine, and said she was used to her younger sibling coming in her room at night to sleep with her.

Izarra laughed again as she said that she was probably the one to come into her brother’s room wanting to sleep with him.

Kairo asked if Izarra was the youngest in her family, when Izarra said yes, Kairo laughed and said that she was the oldest.

Izarra asked how old Kairo was anyway.

Kairo answered with 16 and..

Izarra’s face fell..

Izarra scrambled to find her words as she asked how in the world she got a job at C&A being 16. Kairo told Izarra that she didn’t work at C&A, then she explained her whole story of the night before she got stuck in the circus.

Izarra was shocked. Then she mumbled that they were trying to lure Kairo in. When Kairo asked questions, Izarra said that her boss was the one to murder her brother, and that he wanted her dead too. So she wouldn’t be surprised if he used the open door thing to trick one person to come in and try the headset on.

Kairo took in this info as she thought for a while. Izarra then started to walk out of Kairo's door as Kairo followed her.

Izarra made her way to her own room as she opened the door and started to move a dresser out of the way.

Behind her dresser was a strange purple, blue, and green glitching portal. Izarra used hee eyes and head to tell Kairo she wanted her to follow her.

The two then step through the portal as Izarra walks to some place with a purpose. They walked towards a hallway called ‘Messages’ as they walked deeper and deeper in. Eventually, only a few of the audio logs and pictures lit their way with their soft blue, teal glow. Soon, they came to where there were only a few of these logs left, and then, only two left.

Izarra explained that she was right, and apparently that a new log had popped up called ‘Teen Incident’. Izarra pressed the play button as police and reporters said that a girl named Hazel had gone missing. She lived with her friends, then one night disappeared when they were walking around the block. The last place they saw the girl was near the company called C&A. Investigators were still trying to find her, but with no luck. Then the log cut sharply to a guy yelling, kinda happy, kinda mad, saying one, how the teenagers got in, but he was happy about them being  able to test on another person. But he was mad that they now had to deal with a missing kid incident. The tape then cut off the guy's speech as Kairo looked at the audio log with wide eyes and sharp breaths.

Izarra explained how that was her boss who wanted her dead when she was little, then trapped her in the circus as she got older. Then she said that now Kairo knew her name at least, she added onto it that ‘Hazel’ was a pretty name. She even told her name to Kairo, apparently, her name was Evelyn..

The talking did help Kairo calm down as she asked if this is how Izarra learned about her brother. Izarra nodded softly as she pulled up a video from another log. It showed Izarra at about 13 acting all stupid in the camera, then her brother came along and laughed at her as she hugged her cow plush. Then their boss popped around the corner as Mark almost cussed as he turned the video off.

The video froze as Izarra sniffled and wiped her eyes.

Kairo didn’t know what to do for a while, but then she just slowly reached out and hugged Izarra.

Izarra melted in her arms as she gave a good cry before she pulled away and the two walked back to the portal together.

Izarra commented on how well Kairo had adjusted, since it was only her first night anyway. Kairo laughed and said that she was happy that Izarra was so nice to her. When they went back into Izarra’s room, the lights were on.

The two walked out of Izarra’s room as they met up with everyone else in the Tent area. Caine then finally started to explain the adventure, its name was ‘Maze of Lights and Guns, and would be like a maze, but also be capture the flag with laser guns.

 said that it sounded fun to Kairo as Caine explained the rules. The gang would wear helmets that when shot, would make a loud sound, if shot 5 times, they were out and had to watch the others try and beat the game. If they all got shot, it was game over, there would be 3 game overs before the complete game over. There were also enemies that needed to be taken down to get their flag. 

Caine then spawned in a green portal as the gang walked through it. Izarra smiled brightly as she and Kairo walked through the portal last. Kairo was actually pretty excited for what was in store..

and she would be fine, as long as Izarra was by her side..
