Thirty plus years since we last saw the man who became the legend, and the cornerstone of the series, Robert E.O. Speedwagon takes the spotlight again in a new original story many of us fans have imagined. The moment when Baron William Antonio Zeppeli’s checkered top hat passed hands from its keeper to its future. Caesar Antonio Zeppeli. One screenshot. One brief moment. Yet the way the hat is gently cupped for young Zeppeli to take and Caesar using both hands to delicately accept it says hundreds of words about both of their mental states. Caesar’s build also shows that he’s fully grown. What happened to Caesar’s siblings? Did Speedwagon meet Mario years before and give him the hat, only for it to be boxed up and sent back to the Foundation as a gift for Caesar, just in case he couldn’t give it to his missing son himself? There is so much we don’t know. So many ways to interpret what happened while Mario and Lisa Lisa were hunting vampires and Hamon-training, and Caesar was skulking the streets. So much happened since Speedwagon had to cover Lisa Lisa’s disappearance and help raise Joseph, while also keeping his technology and funds out of newly forming Axis hands. The Foundation was concerned about conserving anthropology, habitats, cultures, stories, nature and natural order. Speedwagon had already lost his godson and goddaughter to a demon of his past he thought he’d buried forever, and the story was covered up by the Royal Air Force. There was so much going on in each character’s lives. The moment where their stories intersect has never been officially portrayed on screen or paper.

I don’t play games but I’m eager for crumbs of character lore.
