Nero’s / Dante’s / Vergil’s ‘dummy thicc’ lines

I’ve yet to find everyone’s ‘dummy thicc’ lines all in one place, so here’s all three. I took the liberty of splicing Nero’s and Dante’s over some inappropriate cutscene moments instead of using a still image. Sources after the cut. 

Edit: This was a rushed thing done in about ~15 minutes. If I can I’ll find some cutscenes that synch up more I may change them out…or something.

Been thinking about it and considering the things the dev team has said and where the story and gameplay left off (last sparda bros game etc) my predictions for DMC6 are:

there will be new demon hunters outside of DMC introduced, like those in the concept art

we will be able to play as multiple different demon hunters, including the new ones (tho possibly only dmc crew)

new hunters will have variety of play styles & weapons, which lady, trish, and V were the prototypes for in dmc4se/dmc5

nero will be the only playable character with a traditional “devil trigger” UNLESS we get introduced to another part-demon character

any new part-demon character introduced will probably be a lesser demon

story may focus on Nero’s mother? Or related plot

people will complain about dante being unplayable and the lack of style switching to the extent that he can do it—UNLESS they give nero something similar/equivalent

you’ll finally be able to switch freely between nero’s arms

More out-there/wild/unlikely guesses:

sparda bros will be a boss fight 👀

sparda bros will be back from hell already (unlikely, bc otherwise ppl would complain about them not being playable)

main villain will be pretty boring (hopefully not)

timeskip will be smaller than usual, only a few years perhaps

DMC6 will be set a few years later, when nero is around 30-ish, and mostly feature nero & new devil hunters as playable characters. Dante and Vergil won’t show up at all, except mentioned in passing by ppl. No cutscenes of them in hell; nothing. Radio silence.

The next few games will keep building on the new cast and introducing new playable characters, as well as world lore. Nero gradually gains “legendary” devil hunter status.

Finally, when the hype has been building and simmering for several games, and multiple in-game years have passed, dante & vergil will come back, either to help the new cast or as boss fights or who knows what else. Most in-universe ppl will have thought they were just myth by then.

If executed well this kind of plot can actually be pretty exciting, like in series sequels when ur favs are now legends that u try desperately to catch glimpses of in passing :P Think Percy Jackson etc.

Gameplay-wise I think this also has a lot of potential and allows the devs to try out different play styles within the genre, so if done well can also help the longevity of the series, so we’re not stuck forever with dante/nero/Vergil’s play styles. On the fans’ end we’re probably forever gonna pine after those 3 as playable characters but from a game dev end they’re very limiting, so I can see them trying to break out of that formula as soon as possible.
