@decimaledâ || Robbery and Also Fraud.
He was headed to his new home⌠finally. Well, none of this particularly made sense but it wouldnât be the first time he finds himself in a strange place and canât exactly remember how he got there. Hopefully the last but with how his life goes, probably not⌠Not having much with him to begin with, he thought it best to not go shopping or anything until he found where he would have to carry things and take the one bag he did have to whatever and wherever home was now. He had yet to do much of anything and he was exhausted, drained.
So, when he passed someone who⌠clearly didnât understand he was being robbed he told himself he wouldnât help. That wasnât his job or anything so why should he⌠plus the man that was being told that his soon to be attacker had a knife was a very large, well built man so clearly he could defend himselfâŚ. Wait did this man really not understand he was robbed? He wasnât joking? Well⌠whatever, itâs not any of his business and he wasnât going to get involved. He certainly was not.
âŚ.. and with a sigh, he walks over to the scene and gets between the poor idiot getting robbed and said robber, grabbing the assailants wrist and squeezing tight, enough to bruise but not enough to break. âWeâll be on our way now.â He didnât really hesitate before pulling the very tall white haired man by the arm out of the alley and pulls him along the street until they were out of earshot of⌠wherever the hell they were. He didnât really thing to stop sooner to stop and talk to the man since he was obediently following, or even get a good look at him but now that he wasâŚ. he couldnât help but notice his eyes. Not that he has much room to judge about strange eyes but they were noticeably not normal, not that they were bad.Â
He realized he was staring without speaking and looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. âYou do know that guy there was trying to rob you, right? If youâre well and fine Iâll just⌠ya know, go.â This man was an adult he should really already know this stuff!! Heâs not a man sitterâŚ.. no noâŚ. But as he goes to walk away, he sighs again and stops. âAre you okay, though?â Heâs soft, he canât help it. Â
As clearly obvious as the reality of the situation is, itâs equally obvious that Decim has wildly misunderstood it from the very beginning. He hadnât at all minded being stopped and asked for all of the cash he had on hand-- although it seems like quite a rude request to make of someone, and he had calmly and politely explained that he didnât have any cash to offer at the moment... so it made him feel a bit guilty to have the man go so far as to offer to give him a knife in exchange when he has to turn the offer down.
âThank you, but Iâm actually employed as a bartender, so I already have plenty of knives available to me at work--â he doesnât go so far as to add that the pocket knife that the man pulls out to show him while heâs speaking would be terribly inefficient, seeing as how he already seems to be very agitated as it is. Heâs a little surprised to have another stranger come up and interrupt the conversation, but he doesnât resist it when the blonde tugs him away from his baffled would-be assailant when the conversation had been growing increasingly tense and uncomfortable for him to be in. He doesnât exactly know this man, either, but he seems at least a little more pleasant than the last one had been... so heâs content to stand silently in the alleyway while he waits for some kind of explanation as to what exactly is going on.
When the explanation heâs looking for is given, however, he doesnât exactly react to it very much outwardly beyond some quiet, slightly startled blinking. âI see... I hadnât realized that was his intention, no. Thank you for interrupting him, if thatâs the case." Despite his calm composure on the outside, he is a bit more surprised internally and a little... frustrated that he had completely failed to notice or realize the gravity of the situation himself. His brow furrows a bit in thought, but he nods, confirming his safety at the very least. âYes, Iâm fine... thank you for your concern.â
