As a given Scott has direct access to the mind and body of his direct fledglings (apo drift pyro)

Meaning if he wanted to he could technically see hear or even mentally talk to them (not in a hivemind way as it’s only one way from Scott to fledgling and the fledglings can’t do this with each other)

I’ve imagined it like a radio or tv channels. Scott can only turn in to one at a time if he wants to peep on what his fledgling is doing. So if he wants to check in with someone else he would stop receiving input from the first fledgling and has to “switch channels”.

He could also technically take over their bodies but it would be seemless, nothing about the fledgling changes except now Scott is at the helm. Even the fledgling wouldn’t be aware that Scott took over their body

In my personal HC, if abolish consumed more of Scott’s blood he too would be susceptible to this mind control. I couldn’t stop thinking about the end of vsmp if abolish survives then he goes back to his organisation and Scott is able to see through his eyes and gets a peek into the organisation abolish.

theres lots of fun ways you could spin off the mind control stuff, I do like the idea of Scott being able to sort of mind hop to his fledglings, and maybe he can't full take over Abolish, but he can get little moments, small snapshots.

but as dangerous as that ability makes Scott, maybe it's also the potential opening for the town to get a win here.

Cause what happens to Scott's body while he's popping about in his fledglings heads?

Maybe Cleo catches on to what he's doing, and they figure out that while the fledglings are taken over, Scott's body is vulnerable.

Now Scott isn't stupid, he probably takes many precautions to keep his body safe while his consciousness is elsewhere. But maybe he could be tempted to act irrationally.

Cleo forms a plan, but it would mean Abolish would have to give himself over - whether it's taking more blood or straight up being turned. And how the hell would she convince him, when she can't explain that it's so they can kill Scott.

Cleo can save the town, but they'd have to send someone down the exact same path that destroyed their own life to do it.

Does Cleo even care enough about the town to do that? Is it worth it?

First he is being compelled to comply to Scott’s commands, now we are making him go crazy by overwriting his senses. What’s next?

i meannnn i was thinking of a potential follow up to the scene i wrote where Cleo offers the obvious solution to the problem; Abolish lets her turn him.

But then if we add on the 'fledglings are mind warped to be loyal to their sires no matter what' idea that @jackdaw-sprite pitched, he's essentially forced to choose his loyalty.

Can he fight the thrall long enough to make sure Scott is killed? Or does he hand his loyalty over to Cleo? And would that even help, because Cleo is tied to Pyro who is tied to Scott so isn't it just handing himself over to Scott still, just in a more convoluted way?

Then add on the next layer of the cure. The only way to be fully free of any of the thrall or loyalty to a sire is if he gets turned and then cured, but the sire has to die. He'd be condemning Cleo, for the sake of his own freedom. Maybe that's worth it, though?

Every path is too risky. It's not even a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils. He's a danger to the town if they do nothing, but anything they do is just as likely to increase the danger as it is to mitigate it.

> lots of playlists, finding popular songs online (the you are glass song has been circulating for a while), getting recommendations from friends. I personally could spend hours searching yt playlists that other ppl have made for their own ocs and see whether they match other characters
