My friend picked me up today I got to drink vodka the whole time. We spoke about a mutual friend who was somewhat rude to both of us but more to her than myself. Basically the mutual friend had complained to me about her and said she thinks she’s lying about her current job and that she might have just moved cities to go live with an estranged controlling relative to get away from her mom which I just found so ridiculous bc why would she move to live with a random man she hardly knows to go and do nothing? I told my friend about this today and she got so revolted especially because turns out she had spoken to said mutual friend about this relative in the past. The mutual friend knows this guy is a creep like in loads of detail, so why would she ever think she’d move to live with him for no reason? anyways it turns out we both went through the same thing as children! Who would’ve thought? Lmaooo

Literally what job or major are you even meant to do if engineering is apparently gonna leave you completely unemployable? I know so many old people who have full medical degrees and qualifications and even they’re saying it’s hard to get a job now. Every major I mention I just hear “there’s no future for that” or it’s probably going to be automated/replaced by bots. Even worse if I suggest something humanities related. Should I just bend over since im going to be fucked anyways or what? I can’t even pretend to live in stardew valley and work on my grandfathers old farm because the springs have been dried up for a decade now
