An Arcane territory that's been lead by the royal family for centuries. After the death of the previous king, he put his adopted daughter, Eris on the throne instead of his older, blood-related son, Tantris. After a brief civil war between the siblings, Queen Eris took the throne and banished her brother. Eventually, Tantris returned with a new army and overthrew her to take the realm for himself. He's been titled the Tyrant King for his cruelty.

Full Map of the territory:

The kingdom started out in a warzone fighting for what is now the Veiled Sanctuary in the Empire of Death's Shadow flight territory near the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. Now it has locations in Ice and Light, though has allies in Arcane as well.

Frozen Heavens:

Upon losing the war, Sanctus lead the remaining survivors to Ice where they formed the Frozen Heavens Kingdom at the peak of the Cloudscrape Crags—despite the deadly freezing temperatures. Here the demi-goddess and her followers reside with few knowing of their existence.

Falgem Bastille:

An outpost in Light first created by Tantris, a guardian who allied himself with Sanctus in order to gain an army for his own goals. He created a rag-tag group in order to gain info on the Veiled Sanctuary inhabitants. After the mission came to an end, Sanctus kept it as an outpost for her followers.

In the beginning the Empire of Death (formerly just the Clan of Death) resided on the border of Plague and Shadow.

Clan of Death:

Most of the original clan members have moved here along with the leader and founder of the Empire of Death, Cerberus.

Order of Bone:

The first sub-clan to form in the Empire of Death. It's located in the Boneyard and led by the second in command and heir to the throne, Lucifi.

Bleak Meadow Prison:

One of the later additions to the Empire of Death. It was founded by a pearlcatcher named Sugar Meadow and a goaler named Khaadgrim in response to an emperor that needed containment. It now homes the emperor along with other dangerous prisoners.

Sect of Masks:

This sub-clan remains on the border of Plague and Shadow where the original clan made its home. The official formation of the sub-clan was made around the same time as the Order of Bone. It's led by Danika.

Veiled Sanctuary:

The newest sub-clan that was formed shortly after the Cult of Faerie. It was fought over in a war between two possible chosen ones in a prophecy, Shroud and Sanctus. It was won and now led by Shroud.

Cult of Faerie:

The location for this sub-clan was nearly forgotten about after the initial attempts by a patrol to reach the area went poorly. Eventually the efforts were redoubled. Lyric now leads the clan and assures those who join that is isn't actually a cult, the name came from rumors and now keeps out unwanted visitors.
