Two. Years.

The casting for Riverdale was announced two years ago, but we know that they had come across each other at auditions, and made an impression on each other almost immediately:

“He was sitting across the table and kind of had his back turned to us just a little bit, and like, inquisitive and going over his lines. I didn’t really talk to him much, because he seemed to be in his own little world…” (ET interview)

“It’s funny, I don’t really remember having an opinion on Cole, to be honest. Of course, I had grown up watching [The Suite Life] but I wasn’t really starstruck. He just seemed like this really attractive, normal guy.” (W Magazine)

So in those two years, Cole went from “this really attractive, normal guy” who “seemed to be in his own little world” to a co-star, best friend, boyfriend and partner. 

And now they go on trips and adventures and couple getaways and brunch dates and photo shoots…?! Just… gah. 

Things that killed me about this picture: - Lili’s leg on top of Cole’s - Lili holding cole’s hand close to her (like a security blanket 😭) - Cole (protectively) wrapping Lili in her arms - Their heads touching - Cole COMPLETELY leaning towards Lili - How peaceful Lili looks and Cole’s dreamy smile 😍😍
