A maiden and her wyvern | intro/open |
There was something about her gnashing of teeth on the sausages that reminded Cherche of Minerva’s feeding time when fresh cuts of high grade beef was given to her steed as an occasional treat. It was apparent she was enjoying her meal, but her standing there while loudly chomping down couldn’t be any more conspicuous.
"Beg pardon, madame," the wyvern rider interrupted Mokou’s fascination with a smile in her direction. “Would you perhaps like to sit here? I am certain my little Minerva wouldn’t mind the company at all."
"Granting, I must warn you that your lunch looks very appetizing to her. She’ll grow very fond of you if you were willing to share."
A light tap with two fingers atop the wyvern’s head ceased her eager extension of her neck in Mokou’s direction, learning that being impatient was inconsiderate and rude towards others. Not even Cherche taking careful consideration that maybe a small reptile wasn’t cute and cuddly to everyone and thought manners mattered. It is what it is.
Mokou's attention would be turned to the armor clad girl offering the seat next to her and her weird pet or something. It was probably cause no one else felt safe sitting next to the thing so they could use a bit of company. Hey, not like she cared. Getting up from her seat, she'd plop right back down next to the two, staring down at the little lizard like thing in her lap.
Mokou was prepared to bite down on another one of her sausage snacks when the lady mentioned the possibility of sharing her food. ..Eh, not like she cared. Taking it away before it could touch her lips, she'd hold it up to the little lizard thing, waving it a bit to see if it'd go for it.
" Don't see these things minglin' with humans that often. You must've trained 'em well. "
Stories about humans training and taming mythical beasts always popped up in great stories and literature, but actually seeing one was kind of hard to believe since most humans typically were too afraid of the idea of taming one of these things. But, since it was a little baby, that was probably how she managed to tame it so well.
