Duncan is more affectionate in public, the same way he was with Courtney. He wants everyone to know who his woman is and he doesn’t care if the guys consider him “whipped” because he’ll just end up dealing with them after. Heather is still highly embarrassed of even liking Duncan tbh and most of the time will shoo away his affection, at least in the beginning anyway.

Duncan is romantic...in his own unique way. Remember the skull carving? Yeah. Heather’s not really romantic either. Unless you consider making out every few minutes romantic.

For special occasions Heather cooks Duncan whatever he desires. Once she was out of her parents’ house and moved in with Duncan, she had to start cooking for herself and actually loved it! Duncan would probably give her something cheesy like a photo locket necklace and Heather will initially scoff at it but ends up never taking it off.

Heather is actually the first one to start crushing funny enough, pretty much from the beginning. She’s never liked anyone before so it took her a while to realize what exactly she was feeling. Duncan is only physically attracted to her at first until after their kiss in TDA. I like to think they both feigned disgust but were blushing like idiots once the cameras were off.

They don’t start dating till after AS. It only took one bored night for Duncan to strike up a conversation with Heather and shocklingly she responds almost immediately. In an au where Duncney never happens their relationship would have definitely taken place almost immediately during filming. Lots of flirting up until the deer paintball episode where they hang out after Duncan cleans the bathrooms for her and end up sharing their first kiss.

My favourite crack ship. Their chemistry in TD Action was delicious and I think Heather rocks a buzzcut. And we know Duncan likes strong girls.

It was supposed to be a fast drawing, but I went overboard and experimented a bunch with colors.

Fun fact: the first total drama episode I ever saw was a tda one, in the middle of the season. And knowing nothing of the show and the characters, I thought Heather was supposed to be the edgy, punk girl.
