It honestly filled him with so much joy to see a familiar face after so long. Killian kept his arms around Nikki as they talked, running his fingers through the boys hair, just how he knew Nikki liked it.

Nicolai practically purred as his friend’s fingers carded through his sugary pink locks. ( Yes, he’d missed this. ) He lent a loyal ear to Killian though his eyes remained closed, too relaxed to bother opening them. Only once he’d finished speaking and his cheek was prodded at did the youth pipe up himself.
