Iggy is a great guy with a good heart and a magic pair of hands, that man can whip up five star meals with a campfire and a hot plate. He’s pretty damn good in battle as well, I wasn’t really expecting someone like him to be good enough to go toe to toe with Ardyn.

I just wish he’d take all of us into account when cooking instead of just Noct, we have a distinct lack of cup noodles for dinner.

The best way to approach it is to sit down and talk it over as adults. Explain to your mom that while some people are male and female, there are some that feel more male than female or more female than male. But then there’s people like yourself that don’t feel like you’re not on that spectrum all together depending on how you feel as non-binary as I know it truly varies from person to person. If your mother has questions explain that non-binary people don’t feel male or female, you’re not transgendered as you’re not a person who views themself as the opposite gender, you just don’t feel as if you have a gender and belong on that spectrum.

Coming out can be tough, it’s scary regardless of how supportive your parents can be. But believe me, you’ll fell better in the long run because no one likes hiding themselves. And if the response is negative, you’ll always have a place among my friends to sit around the campfire and crack jokes at Prompto.

Honestly, it’s state of mind. I’ve always been pretty good with swords, but starting out it was rough. If it weren’t for wanting to be a good role model for Iris....I probably wouldn’t be nearly as good as I am now.

The best thing I can say is it’s all state of mind, instead of thinking “I can’t” switch it to “I can” and if you fail, use that failure to improve. Learn what you did wrong, and try again. It’s not easy, believe me. I went on a whole journey by myself because I didn’t feel good enough to be Noct’s shield and learned some valuable lessons on that journey. But if you do your best, and learn from your failures, success feels so much better, and you feel so much better now that you’re successfully able to do whatever it was you thought you couldn’t.

Being the King’s shield leaves little time for skin care, but I seem to manage. I start the day with an intensive workout and possible sparring session Iggy or Noct, that really just depends who’s up and when. After that it’s time to strip down and hit the showers, or river if we’re camping. I don’t usually wash but rinse off, night time is when the intense care comes in.

I always start with hot water whenever possible to help open the pores, and never do I ever use the same cloth on my face, body, and intimate/sensitive areas, I have a separate washcloth for all three since my scars can be pretty tender under hot water. I always start with my face. I’ll use an anti-acne cream if needed, but usually just a typical facial cleanser is fine. Don’t tell the guys but I do use the charcoal mask by Astralle (the Ifrit line if you really want to know) twice a week.

For the body, I use Cactuar Spring bar soap. It’s a pretty cheap bar soap but it gets me clean from all the dirt and grime from a hard day, and it doesn’t smell too bad.

For my sensitive areas like my scars and the....bits. I do use a gentle soap for those with sensitive skin, they’re usually more expensive but typically hypoallergenic, a soft scent, and not too harsh.

My hair, while not being skin, receives great treatment. I make sure to get damage reversing Astral Essence shampoo. I’ll shampoo every other day, condition every day.

After all of that and a rinse, I blast myself with cold water for a couple minutes to close up those pores plus cold water has been proven to help reduce wrinkles. I’ll then step out of the shower and dry off and moisturize. Make sure you get two moisturizers, one specifically for your face, and the other for your body. I ALWAYS make sure to grab some with vitamin E to help skin growth and repair, and shea butter to keep my skin soft.

By the Astrals, I haven’t been on here in a hot minute but it’s so good to see someone sending me asks. I highly recommend Dante’s Divine Comedy. It deals with some pretty heavy stuff and is not an easy read, but it is a great work of poetry. Otherwise if you’d want some great albeit dark poetry anything by Edgar Allen Poe is always a good choice.
