Gonna start with the unfollowing if this keeps up.

Pansexuals are not special snowflakes. They are not bisexuals without a preference hunting a new identity. And I have never actually had a genuinely pansexual person tell me I’m transphobic for calling myself bisexual.

To me, if I were pan, gender expression wouldn’t be a deciding factor in a relationship, just like, I dunno, eye color doesn’t matter.

THAT SAID, *my* definition of bi vs pan is not the ONLY definition, and certainly not the only valid definition. But it demonstrates that there is, in fact, a difference between the two (exactly what the difference is varies depending on who you ask) and the difference does NOT rely on bi being defined as transphobic. I would be more than happy to date a high-femme trans woman who has had top surgery but nothing else, and has a jawline that could cut you. That combination, among many others (but not all!), absolutely appeals to me.

For this week’s speedpaint, I took an in-depth look at the process that went into this piece!

BD-1 IN A PONCHO NEST IM- Friend this is by far the most wholesome ask I could ever receive, thank you so much for opening my eyes to this glory.

But also consider: Cal who knows from experience how comforting and warm his ponchos are (sure, Trilla, they’re not the most fashion-forward clothing items, but they’re useful and dynamic!!) and seeing say, Trilla, asleep at the kitchen table amongst all the notes she’s been compiling on the empire. Its late in the sleep cycle so its cold and dark and sleep space is limited and waking Trilla is. Not Smart bc Trauma, and she’s still very proud. So instead Cal takes his Least Hideous (by Trillas standards) poncho and drapes it over her shoulders while she sleeps.

Cere taking a quick cat nap at her chair in the cockpit and Cal putting his warmest poncho over her lap bc its the coldest part of the Mantis.

Merrin waking from a nightmare and Cal wrapping her up in a devastating Poncho + Hug Combo until she passes out again on his shoulder!!!

Even Greeze wakes up buried in a poncho when he passes out in the captains chair after a stressful lightspeed escape from imperial forces.
