At this point, Clary and Jace being manipulated into thinking they were bro and sis isn’t even the weirdest thing that has happened in this series. So far we have -
- Tessa, who resolved her love triangle by marrying BOTH the men… 100 years apart
- Lucie, who fell in love with a fucking ghost. And then revived him through sheer will. We don’t know how that story ended yet.
- Charlotte and Henry, spent five years in a marriage thinking that this was a marriage of convenience and never realised that the other married them out of love.
- Benedict Lightwood, who fucked demons and turned into a giant worm. (We’re listing out all the weird and funny things here so shuddup).
- Emma and Julian who turned into giant naked Angels.
- Kit Herondale, who ran away to a wholeass other continent after the drama with Ty. (Is it a slight exaggeration? Yes. Am I going to let him live it down? No.)
- SIMON. FUCKING SIMON LEWIS. Dude started out as a mundane, became a vampire, became a daylighter after a homoerotic vampire biting scene, became a mundane again, and then became a shadowhunter. His story is fucking WACK.
- Malec. Where do I even start with these two. Magnus cooked up this whole fake emergency scheme to get out of his first date with Alec and then it backfired… cause there was a REAL emergency. But it somehow worked out and now they’re married? Alec, ever graceful Alec, fell off the fucking stairs after said first date cause he was too dopey-eyed to see where he was going. They went on a vacation, tried having shower sex and then got interrupted BY A FUCKING DEMON. I could go on and on about these two. Their whole relationship is a wack ass MESS - but a very, very, VERY loveable mess.
