I love Valkyrie but hated this whole thing, it’s the opposite of good writing- since this female character is popular, let’s just make her perfect in every way! Let’s pretend she’s not an alcoholic or former slave trader or deserter and instead make her a fucking “natural” leader or something, despite never seeing this demonstrated a single time. This is just making sure she can’t have any further character development, since they literally used this time jump as an excuse to make her overcome all her issues off screen.

so glad of the reoccurring physical embodiment of sacrifice within the mcu, like iron man’s reactor, or thor’s eyepatch, or steve’s loss of time. so glad the mcu never went back on all three of those decisions!
