A quick little Intro on the Main OC Universes on this blog!
Discarded Universe (DU for short): My most longstanding OC world, a full fantasy universe with all types of species and societies, it follows the perspectives on all of the characters who have found themselves in The Crater - a semi-sentient eldritch circular land surrounded by mountains. It feeds on the mutual killing + violence of people within its borders, and therefore only allows those who are likely to help it with its goals into its borders, trapping them in the process. This story focuses on the violence stemming from choosing sides, mental health issues, and past trauma, and the determination of characters to heal and create close relationships despite circumstances in order to create a better future and escape the grasp of what wants them to hurt each other.
Urban Fantasy (official name still to be decided): A group of humans who have never met all choose to move to a small town on the coast in order to escape something from their previous lives. As all of them are trying to adjust to this new life, they all go to sleep on their first night, only to dream of a nightmare version of the town, violent creatures/death lurking around every corner, an inability to leave, and injuries that persist as they wake up. In the real world, they find multiple underground societies of fantasy creatures hiding within humans. It is now up to these humans to work together and discover this new world under their noses in order to prevent the town from turning into the one of their dreams, while also outrunning their own pasts. And if they end up in a polycule spanning half the town, well that's just a bonus.
Neuropocalypse: Something isn't right in this world, hiding away from the public, until it suddenly isn't. A normal day turns dangerous as every neurotypical person drops dead, every neurodivergent individual develops an unknown power, dangerous creatures come out of the woodwork to attack the survivors, and the seemingly normal world turns into an apocalypse of death and fears. The story follows a few groups and individuals as they attempt to survive this new land, strengthening their bonds and dealing with life-or-death challenges along the way. There is heavy themes of the experiences of those with mental disorders, with the cast having a diverse range or mental disorders and the main monster groups all based on a mental health struggle.
