although Striker is most certainly is justifiably angry at the system &. how it treats imps, he's very much an opportunist &. ultimately very selfish. he will kill anyone in his way, whether they are 'his own kind' or not. he has a particular beef with royalty &. those who were born into privilege, absolutely, &. he'll do those targets with more willingness. but Striker is radical but above all else, he is extremely selfish, only looking out for himself. he doesn't care about pregnant Sandra who has cancer, he doesn't care about cute little Timmy who has a lisp, he doesn't care about John who's struggling financially in college. he will kill everyone.
he is a professional &. we see that in his debut episode. he is not above being cordial &. cooperative with royals when it comes to his work, after all he has to network somehow : he will use the system to his advantage. he is a professional &. we see that in his debut episode. why not have royals like him ? that ultimately gets him the upper hand.
it's a fact that he's a hybrid, &. i take that as hell's equivalent of being biracial, or even triracial. most likely, Striker was mistreated not only by those who are privileged, the upper class/royalty, but also his 'own kind’, for being a hybrid. both imps &. whatever other demon(s) he's mixed with. he literally thinks he's above others of his own kind, a fact he states in his debut. he doesn't deny that he's part imp &. a certain part of him even embraces that fact, to an extent. but he thinks he's 'the good kind' or rather, the 'better' kind. he does relate to their struggles. he wouldn't necessarily take that part away from himself if given the chance. he's bitter, he's angry at the world, &. has a bone to pick with everyone. he was wronged, he was probably extremely bullied even by some of his own family members, maybe his immediate family were the only people that he could run to &. they were taken from him. was he always like this ? i like to think there was a time that he was relatively normal. he could handle the bullying so long as he had a solid support system but then, whatever tragedy happened, happened &. then they were gone.
from that point forward, it was a gradual, almost unnoticeable to those around him, anger. he just kept getting angrier until he was in a place, mentally, where he didn't give a fuck anymore. it wasn't something that he arbitrarily decided, he was driven there, by both his environment &. his own festering feelings that he never addressed.
