HEADCANONS + CANON STORYLINE

My version of Kori involves a lot of different influences, starting with Teen Titans and her New 52 era. There are some relationships however that I have not included in her story and there are some that have more depth than they did in the comics. But, I am currently reading her recent stand alone and hope to include that in due time!

Though she is a very trusting and optimistic person, she is far from naive. Choosing to see the best in people does not hinder her judgment of them.

When she was 21 years old, she mysteriously lost her memories, resulting in her departure (or rather disappearance) from the Teen Titans.

The former resulted in her meeting and teaming up with Roy and Jason several months later, thus forming The Outlaws. Which she has been a member of for the past two years.

She has often described Jason and Roy as “her people”. They mean everything to her and they are her heart and soul.

With the return of her memories came the return of her friendship and loyalty to her The Titans. They were her first friends and only family since she was young and she makes it known that she’d do anything for them.

She shares an apartment with Raven, who despite their VERY obvious differences is her best friend.

Kori often makes “alien” jokes, because they amuse her. And the alien emoji is her go-to.

Ever since she was 19, Kori has traveled the world working as a model. Originally she used the name “Kory Anders” but after the loss of her memories she decided to just use her name.

Suffers from PTSD from the traumas she suffered through as a child. And when triggered it usually results in blacked out anger.

She is a “hit first ask questions later” type of person, which makes her such a match for The Outlaws. Though, they have had to diffuse her anger bomb several times.

And though she is known for having a quick temper of her own, she’s the first one trying to talk the others down from a rage. She doesn’t like taking her own advice.

She has an almost insatiable sweet tooth, always craving something sweet. Whether it’s desserts or candy, she wants it no matter what time of day it is.

Memes and certain jokes and references go over her head, but she still tries to understand them and stay up to date. Even if she misinterprets them 7/10 times.

It has been quite some time since she’s had a romantic attachment to anyone and she’s not sure of if that’ll change any time soon. While hookups are nothing foreign to her, love and dating seem to be a thing of her past.

Glitter

Kori has an affinity for makeup and perfected her look with the help of studying youtube tutorials. She likes to use her friends, especially Jason, for swatches and to practice looks on.

Though it takes a lot for her to get drunk, she loves sipping on pink moscato and mixed drinks. Wine coolers are her favourite, though. They make her feel fancy.

She has a nameplate necklace that reads “koriand'r” that she’s had ever since she was 16. She rarely takes it off.

Though her hair is known for it’s wild curls and that’s her go-to style, she has been known to braid it up when it comes time for patrol or battles.

Kori has a habit of trying to take animals home with her when she goes to the zoo. Thus…why the others don’t really take her there anymore.

Leaving the front door open behind her is a bad habit of hers. Which resulted in Jason putting a camera outside her front door in case he needs to call and tell her to close it.

Though she knows that his methods aren’t exactly the best solution, she’ll go toe for toe with anyone that openly challenges Jason’s way of leading The Outlaws.

HEADCANONS + CANON STORYLINE

After escaping the speedforce, Wally has suffered from PTSD. Experiencing brief blackouts and distortions of space/time whenever he gets too stressed.

Wally’s favorite member of the bat family is Tim. In a contrast to his own loud and sometimes boisterous demeanor, Tim’s quiet and calculated personality is sobering for Wally, and makes him feel oddly protective of the younger boy at times.

In his time of getting to know Dick’s family due to their relationship, Wally has began to look up to Bruce as a source of guidance. Obviously the older male could never replace Wally’s uncle, Barry, but he’s still grown to admire Bruce as a positive male figure in his life.

The emotional and sometimes physical abuse that Wally has suffered at the hands of his father has left him stunted socially at times. Especially when it comes to expressing how he truly feels. It’s gotten to be a sort of roadblock in his relationship with Dick.

HEADCANONS + CANON STORYLINE

Dick’s ethnicity is Half Romanian, Quarter English, and Quarter Romani. He traveled with Haley’s Circus on the European circuit and spent the off season with his family in Romania. When he was orphaned, he was sent back to Romania to stay in an orphanage until Bruce Wayne could finalize the papers to adopt him in the USA. He grew up completely bilingual, but spoke Romanian with his parents, so at times it slips out.

Out of all the Gotham Rouges, Two Face gets to him the most. Both because of past interactions (Robin: Year One), and because he is disturbed by the stark contrasts in good and evil that he represents, with no grey area to speak of.

Dick has known his sexuality and been comfortable with it for almost all his life. He isn’t exactly an effeminate person, but he doesn’t shy away from liking effeminate things - sue him if he likes to smell nice and wear lip balm. He was given a lot of grief for it at private school, and while there were times it got to him, he was pretty good at shaking it off.

Always cold???? You’d think for such an athletic person, he’d have better blood circulation, but he's always just a little bit chilly. Especially his toes, dear God, his toes are like icicles. Catch him in thick socks and big sweaters, no shame.

Garfield Logan aka Beast Boy

As mentioned in our previous post, the characters just go about their day as normal - you can talk in the group chat one day and not say a word in it the next. Your character can text their friends/etc as often as they’d like. For example, Bruce does not text a lot unless it’s necessary so he’s not super active, but Roy is more socially active so he’s incredibly active. Sometimes characters are texting with plans to meet up or do things together which would lead to paragraph interactions. Paragraph channels are made for anyone upon request. This is an ongoing thread between Stephanie and Jason which is a result of their text conversation (posted as Server Examples: Text Channels) and is currently unfinished (which is why it’s so brief).
