"It's better this way." Kyle lied through his teeth, keeping his eye contact with the ground. He couldn't stand hurting her, but he felt almost trapped. He knew she was better off without him.

"Are you leaving?" Sure, she was use to people leaving, but she didn’t think they were the type to just leave with out saying a goodbye. "I thought you were different."

"Don't." Kyle said, getting defensing in his words. "You know it's not like that. You know I don't have a choice." His eyes avoided hers for the longest as he decided he didn't want to say anymore on the topic.
