I wrote this random poem for Ms. Emily, because she is sweet and rad and works hard while also going to school to earn her English degree. She came back grinning a few minutes later, showing me how she had placed it inside her server's book. Very awesome way to start a Saturday. The chocolate chip pancakes didn't hurt either. Peoples' casual cruelty never ceases to amaze me. Nor depress me. Deeply. This is why ol Jack drank himself to death. Before 50. Because people routinely choose cruelty over kindness. And Hell over Heaven. I am so sick of it, myself. So very very sick. And tired.
