creativity for me stems in large part from strings not yet undone something an author of a fictional story neglected, or not expanded on the way I wanted, that's what fanfics stem from after all
I find it quite beautiful that the human mind yearns to fit the gaps the other left behind, patching a relationship into a work that never focused on it
I really enjoy Dazai's and Chuuyas relationship in that way, I see them working together despite their seemingly hostile attitudes, yet when it comes to the most important moments trusting each other with their lives
it's only natural for me to put them together, in secret from the story of the original work, from the voyeuristic gaze of the reader/watcher
going on behind the work, trusting each other with their lives fully, not just in the show, but learning to be vulnerable with each other, managing anger issues, propping each other up in times of doubt
being scared to show that in front of their superiors
it's simply beautiful what the mind might bring when the creative hunger strikes, a simple need for more, yet can accomplish so much
one of my favourite tropes in fiction is the found family
it's simply incredible watching characters grow close and learn about each other
being forcibly in each others presence by the power of circumstance
