If you are a baby lifter here are some of the best places to start
Dollar general: cameras are not monitored well and there are plenty of blindspots. Some items are tagged like makeup but it's only the barcode sticker tag so you'll be fine.
The dollar store/ dollar tree: super easy. All the cameras are ether fake or not being monitored, they don't care if items go missing because they are retailed so low. They have lots of candy and makeup so grab your biggest bag.
Hot topic ( in mall): the workers are on there phone half the time and the rest of the time they just don't care. Items are tagged but once again it's only the stickers. Lots of nice jewelery, shirts and hair dye. It's a free for all
Claires ( in mall) they only have one worker at a time. Try to go in right when they are piercing a kid so they are distracted. Things are tagged but it's the stickers so you can just peel them off and they have super cute earrings so it's worth it.
Spencers ( in mall) thier layout is SUPER crowded so you can easily duck behind things and put them in your bag. Workers half the time are similar to hot topic workers but sometimes you might get the try hard workers but it's fine if your outside of their line if sight
Y'ALL im going līftīng w/ my friend tomorrow because our mall's opening up and im so ready to rob all the stores that don't support blm blind,,,
AS U SHOULD !!! heres a lil list i have of stores that suck (not just anti-blm) and that u should suck the money outta btw:
-anthropolo/gie: refered to black employees as “nicks” and employees trained to watch poc shoppers. when pressured to post abt blm only posted a poem abt peace and equality w/o mentioning anything abt blm itself nor their own issues bcs white overpriced brand <3
-v/s, p/ink: obvi exclusive sizing and branding, plus gross sexual assault reports from models and female workers
-u/o: ceo is the worst. donated to anti-lgbt political campaign but still profits off of progressive pro-lgbt marketing and clothing. staff in the us are asked to work free weekends. also steals small independent company designs and significant designs from various cultures. remember their many, many insensitive designs? easily googlable !!
-uniq/lo: overworks their workers in bad conditions w bad pay in a bad bullying culture
-prim/ark: remember the sos stitching and note from a chinese worker claiming they were worked like “oxen” scandal? maybe a hoax, but stay away anyway. (or do stay there. but steal lol)
-ga/p: tons of labour issues. allegations of forcing a woman to get an abortion, unpaid labour, etc.
-aritzia: donated to blm, but black employees report disrespect and even getting fired for speaking out
-reformation: sure, sustainable, but super racist corporate culture. consistently choosing white over black, better qualified employees for promotions. founder ignores black employees and posted a photo of herself w fried chicken for “black history month”. rob that overpriced bs !!!!

Hey yall here it is
*¨`*•.¸¸.•*¨`*•🍒💖L U S H 💖🍒•*¨`*•.¸¸.•´*¨`* 1) Behavior: • Your behavior could potentially be your number one alibi. Presentation is everything. You will most likely want to do your hair and makeup, wear a cute outfit, look as innocent as possible. The sales associate will ask you what you’re looking for, let them know that you are familiar with lush products, and you know what you came in for.
•Behavior can be a dead giveaway. If you have shaky hands, a worried look on your face, you can’t stop looking behind your back, around the store, and you’re always holding the item you want to take, that is going to stick out to the SA. If you hold onto an avobath bath bomb for 20 minutes the SAs are going to notice if you don’t buy that bath bomb. Be as sneaky and fast as you can. Have steady hands. Don’t stand around waiting for an SA to disappear because chances are they won’t leave you alone.
•Don’t be loud. Don’t be sloppy. And try to avoid taking items to other sections of the store. Don’t fidget be calm. If you act strange or out of place when you’re nervous you shouldn’t be lifting!!!! I promise! Sometimes certain things aren’t meant for everyone.
2) Know your store: • Store size will be the ultimate dealbreaker. As unfortunate as this sounds if your store is tiny, you probably shouldn’t be lifting there. My lush has minimal cameras and lazy SA’s. Most of the time when I go into my lush all of the workers (all twoof them 😂) are just using hand massage bars or scrubs on each other and sampling their products. ^ I once waited at the counter to be checked out for almost 5 minutes. During this time I had my back to the SAs and on a whim (since I had been waiting forever to check out) I stuffed some items in my other bags. So easy when the SAs are lazy.
• Do your research!! Know your stores policy! Even googling your state + shoplifting laws can help you even the slightest bit. I know that my lush has a no chase policy, if they spot suspicious behavior they will customer service you to death. Just cooperate and calm. Don’t lead the SA to believe you feel unsettling.
3) Your purse: • I have a slouchy kind of boho hippie bag that I have used forever. I realized that’s what was a small giveaway in ulta. Walking in with an empty bag, and leaving with a full heavy bag. They knew what was going on. So now I have sleek and structured bag that works so much better. The outside of this bag looks square and fitted and the inside is basically a black hole to say the least.
• With a purse like this, at Lush you can stuff as many bath bombs in your bag as you need with your purse helping you stay discreet. You can also get away with this with a shopping bag. For example hollister has a structured dark bag. With this kind of bag on the crook of your arm and the lush shoppers bag on the crook of your arm (kind of hiding the first bag) you can slip things into your purse instead of the lush bag.
4) Actual tips: • Only conceal an item if you’re positive you’re not being watched. • Its absolutely much better to leave with nothing than to leave with getting caught. Don’t be greedy! Trust your instincts! • Go into Lush on a busier day but at times when the store is somewhat slow. ^ Remember if someone else is shopping most of the time they aren’t paying attention to you. They are too busy shopping! • My fav blind spot in lush is in the back by the foot scrubs. • Don’t spend too much time handling the item you plan on lifting: I brought attention to this once but it needs reiterated. This will give the LP or SA more time to see you with merchandise and more time for them to become suspicious of what you plan on doing with it. Don’t conceal in the same spot more than twice. Don’t go back to the bath bomb display more than twice. Don’t be greedy!!!!! Take your items and conceal as fast as you can! After you conceal in your shopping bag/ purse put any extra items you want back. Most of the SAs are extremely lazy. Grab your phone and pretend you are going to meet up with someone. “yeah I’m in lush. Do you wanna meet here? Yeah. I guess I am. Ok I’ll find you there” and leave. I always take a few of the bath bomb paper baggies and I go into a bathroom and I put the bath bombs in the bags. I always always leave the mall I hit lush. I don’t lift there often. Please make it look like you’re actually shopping you know? Open jars of lotion, smell bath bomb bombs, rub eyeshadow shades on your wrist. Look for prices.
I’ve never made a masterpost before I hope I covered the basics! Stay safe and have a dreamy experience lifting at Lush.
Yay I didn’t think this would get this many notes!
you deserve all the notes on this, anyone that would take the time to write all this out and give such useful tips, deserves the notes.fr

going out lifting today and just thought i’d share some tips, just in case someone can find any of it to be useful! <3
i always dress up slightly more than i normally would. nothing too fancy as i don’t want to stand out too much, but definitely not wearing sweatpants or leggings. and dress weather appropriate!!! just use your intuition
i put on natural makeup just to look presentable. if i’m lifting from a makeup store, i’ll do a little extra to make it look like i do makeup often and intend on buying it
if it’s a store location i’ve never been to before, i’ll google the location and look at the photos of the interior. most businesses have these, and most will show the ceilings enough to where you can see the cameras, so i can figure out how risky it is and where blind spots will be
also on google, it will tell you how busy the store is at each hour of the day, this is a good way to ensure you go when it’s busier
most of the time i bring a ~medium~ sized purse. if a purse is too big i feel like it looks too obvious that i’m planning to lift. i also make sure my bag matches my outfit well. this probably isn’t necessary but i just think it makes me look more put together and inconspicuous lol
i always just smile at the workers when i walk in, nothing more. talking to them isn’t necessary in my opinion, unless of course they say something to you besides “hi” or “welcome”. just talk to them normally. they should have no reason to suspect you the moment you walk inside.
if i’m getting CS’d a lot, i will automatically assume someone is onto me. in which case i will put a few items back and buy the rest, or just put everything back and leave. always better to leave with nothing than to get caught
i think this is an obvious one, but i’ll say it anyways. don’t immediately go towards the item(s) you’re planning on lifting. browse around the store, pick things up, decide against them. i like to make it appear that i’m “just looking”. i also try to have a product in mind that i know the store doesn’t carry, so I can ask an SA about it. i think that makes it look less suspicious when i leave the store “empty handed” ;)
i usually wait a month to go back to any store i lifted from, but that’s being on the safe side. i wouldn’t go back any sooner than 2 weeks tho. if i go back sooner than a month, i try to make myself look very different from how i looked the last time i was there. i’m pretty good at remembering what i wore last time, but if you’re not, take a picture of yourself and put it in your notes app with the date and what store you went to
that’s everything my little brain can think of right now, i hope this was helpful to someone or at least gave you a little refresher. i’m heading out now, so wish me luck! happy lifting <3
I just thought I should post this cause this plan was excellent lmao faces covered and all😭😂 anybody wanna do this together?
haha this is awesome!!
I’m the bitch in the green hoodie! Hello 👋🏼🤣
very tempted to come back to the lifting community but idk if its still alive !! :((
ridiculous long list of collected tips.
michael’s -no chase policy -cameras above the doors and registers -blind spots: knitting/embroidering, woodcrafts, paints, plants; avoid other customers -nothing is tagged -dress niceish -best if you go by yourself -go either an hour or two after opening or closing
victoria’s secret -no lp -bras are tagged, panties are not -no chase policy
terrible companies -too faced -lush -the body shop -urban outfitters -american apparel -whole foods -trader joe’s
starbucks -four cameras: over the door, over the safe, over the register & over the manager’s desk in the back. manager’s don’t have access to the camera footage; they can only access it after an ‘incident’ has occurred -no chase policy -watch out for other customers -bagged coffee and mugs make nice presents and are only inventoried once a month. -nothing is tagged -the fridge with juices and salads cannot be seen from the barista side of the counter. baristas not held liable for it -instant coffees are pretty good and there are cute mugs around christmas -don’t be a scumbag and steal from the tip jar jfc
general -double-check for secutiry tags -sensors inside cardboard tags in clothing -just double-check everything -if you’re lifting all day with your car, keep an empty gym bag in your backseat and dump stuff there in between stores -if the barcode is printed on the product and it is not a sticker, it won’t go off! -if you can, detag/conceal/etc in the men’s dressing room -bring your signifcant other and kiss them passionately if an SA is looking at you -grab two of everything you want - steal one and keep the other in the basket -be confident -don’t get cocky -be careful -if it feels wrong, put it back -browse openly -scope out the places beforehand -the umbrella method: close the umbrella most of the way and drop small items in it (pracitce at home!) -dress like a rich snobby white kid: skinny jeans with boots and a north face & infinity scarf
sephora -never just go in, lift and leave -look around and test out shades. have a question about stuff you’re looking at ready. -test everything. look interested in makeup and new to high end stuff -carry a bag from somewhere else that’s deep enough to shut at the top; ex. forever 21 bags -have a smaller purse and have like a hat or a pair of gloves or something (in the winter) that you can shuffle around in the bag so if an SA spots you mid-conceal or comes around a corner, etc, you can grab your gloves/hat/etc and put them on like you’re getting ready to leave the mall -listen to SA’s on their headsets. if you hear “so and so needs a bag”, drop and run -never lift from a jc penney sephora -if you lift from sephora and feel weird after, go to a place young people usually don’t go. then leave super hard. -it helps to be carrying something expensive with you, or wearing it. look expensive. have expensive taste. -if an SA asks you what you’re wearing for makeup now, always say something expensive. “nars sheer glow and a little bareMinerals powder” works for me. fake expensive taste. -don’t wear headphones. -don’t wear a beanie. -wear lipstick in a noticeable shade. wearing a bright bold lip will make it look you know what you’re doing. if you don’t, go in on a day you won’t be lifing and ask for a tutorial on how to do a lip. -wear heels. youll look classier. -take pictures of things. if an SA shows you an item, take a picture; you’ll look genuinely interested. -if you’re about to leave but feel like someone is onto you, stop and play with a foundation. ask for help finding your shade and ask for a sample. the whole process takes a really long time. act sincerely interested. talk about your current foundation (use an expensive one) and say it breaks you out a bit or dries you out. make it sound worse. have a whole conversation. -when leaving, do not look around at other people. do not. go from looking at a product, checking your phone/the time, then leave. this works well. fake a phone call! say “yeah, i’m just in sephora, i’m leaving in two seconds. where did you want to meet? okay! see you soon.” mentioning the store is pretty helpful. -be really nice.
ulta -some ultas use soft RFID tags on their palettes/expensive items -if there are no blind spots, you can make one by facing the opposite way of the camera, or standing behind a partner -wear something fashionable. do your makeup well. break out your brand-name items… look expensive. look like you can buy that whole store if you wanted to. -bring a big bag; one that has structure so that SAs can’t tell if it’s full or not. lots of lifters like the Michael Kors Jet Set or Selma tote. -walk in; if you’re greeted say hello and smile back -grab an ulta shopping bag. place it in the crook of your elbow. leave your purse up by your shoulder until you can get to a blind spot. -test stuff! -put some stuff in your ulta bag! try putting two of the things you want so it’s not as sus. fill it up with items so it won’t be as noticeable on camera. -find your blind spot and move your purse to the crook of your elbow. conceal. don’t linger. -put the stuff you don’t want back! -if you have a bad feeling, ditch and go -perfumes are super tagged don’t even think about it -don’t park anywhere near it so they can’t track your plates after you leave, just in case -best time: weekday evenings and weekend afternoons -go to prestige and take like one minute, then pick out some random item, then get a shopping bag so it looks like you actually want things -have a question ready, ask for a product they don’t have -blind spots: high-end skincare aisle, low-end haircare aisle, clearance? -do your best to look nice and cute! confidence is key -if you’re not getting good vibes, it’s okay to leave!
old navy -nothing is tagged and there are no cameras??? -dressing rooms aren’t monitored
groceries -go to the biggest 24/7 grocery store and scope it out at like 3-4 am -get a small cart with 2 layers and put two big reusable grocery bags there, open. put your groceries in there while you shop. then just walk out -it’s important that you scope it out before actually going. make sure nobody is stationed at the doors at all times. -if you’re nervous and there’s nobody at the door, walk out looking at an old receipt like you’re looking at how much you spent or the taxes or whatever
urban outfitters -find a store that gives out large paper bags with those stringy handles. ask for a couple for a project on ‘branding’ or something. fill up like a quarter of the space to make it look normal. -there are magnet sensors -little items like books, home accessories, and jewelry can be carried in your hands; find a spot where no one can see you and just stuff what you want into your bag. corners are always good
lush -blindspot in the back of the store with the foot scrubs
for specific things -amiibos aren’t tagged -lift more cotton panties because all that polyester shit ain’t good for your lil gnome garden (via liftinglily)
office depot -nothing is tagged -nobody cares -cute stationary
gap -dressing rooms aren’t monitored -only some things are tagged
icing -no tags
claire’s -fake tags/no tags
sally’s beauty supply -no cameras -no-chase policy -between 5 and 8pm is your best shot -an hour or so after they open is the best time to lift something large; another person doesn’t come in until 10:30 or 11:00
lifting bag -large structured bag so that you can’t tell when it’s full or not
hot topic -the corners are good -bracelets are probably tagged
pier 1 -nothing is tagged -cameras are to monitor employee theft -nice candles, jewelry, scarves, stationary and trinkets
barnes & noble -cameras in toys/collectibles, the music/dvds, comics, the gift card/accessories area, and the sitting/reading area -good blond spot: classic lit -books are tagged sporadically -get a cup of coffee!!
–> message me if you have any corrections or anything!
Great tips! Thanks for putting it together!
So glad I just saw this lmao
Just need to add that the tips about Michaels are almost opposite of what it’s like near me. The tips are 100% wrong. I love these lists, but I definitely take them with a grain of salt.
Things I've learned
1. Go for blindspots obviously
2. If you're unpackaging go to a shelf with lots of stuff on hooks and look natural checking things out while unpackaging
3. Go shopping where you wanna lift or at least go hangout there for a few trips before lifting
4. Don't lift stupid shit
5. If you're seeing the same employees around you at different parts of the store slowly leave your stuff, it's not worth being caught if you are getting suspected
6. Don't dip in and out as fast as possible, that's super sus, take your time but also don't stay long enough to be caught
7. If you think a common lift spot is getting sus of you take a break, just calm down and just walk around
8. Don't linger around exits, leave naturally, like a normal person
That's all I have for now. Stay safe lifters

it's been a while, no??? idk if i wanna come back to this acc since its most likely dead(?) also i don't lift as much anymore due to covid :( how yall doin?
When the mall reopens it is literally over for you bitches.
i miss shoplifting i can't wait to raid trump-supporting stores when the pandemic is over 💔
LADIES, GENTS AND NONBINARY FRIENDS, I've got a question for all of u.
So, apart from cameras and LP, one thing that makes l1fť1nğ harder than it could be, are alarm towers (or EAS security systems). I bet y'all know what they are.
However we found quite a few ways to get around these tricky things, be it grab & run (rather primitive), cutting tags or foil bags.
BUT, and this might be something only technic geeks and very experienced l1fters can answer,
Is there a way to turn off the EAS systems temporarily? They usually work with radio frequency and thus communicate with the tags on the items.
You'll have to imagine the towers as being surrounded by an invisible magnetic field. And since they work with frequencies and are electronic, wouldn't it be possible to block not the items, but the overall signal?
I mean it works with phones, why wouldn't it work with EAS systems?
Don't hold back with answers babes,
Cya ✨🧚♂️
