gah , so upon closer inspection , i realize that the pyro gnosis is technically a rook ( given the base , not so much the top ) , which means mavuika has the rook piece which in turn means diluc gets the knight piece . but it lowkey throws my canon out the window because diluc fits the rook more than he does the knight , so i'm not sure how to bend this . unless i pop mavuika's over to diluc and give her a knight shaped piece .

it just sucks bc i already designed diluc's gnosis for his canon , and it's basically similar to zhongli's except the square top in zhongli's is rounded for diluc's . overall , it's a rook piece .

it just gets me because like , i get that natlan / mavuika are very tied to the sun , and that applies to diluc too , but like , they went extremely ham on the sun motif , especially for the gnosis . every gnosis up until now still had a distinct chess piece shape , but for pyro , you have to tilt your head and squint to see it's technically a rook .
