Finally, the curse was broken again and she really hoped there would be no more of that. Travelling back and forth between worlds had been rather strange, and considering she had spent a complete year with Killian before they had been ripped apart again had been terrible. Especially since they were finally able to regain their memories of what had occurred in that time. She decided to search for him at the docks, close to the sea as he usually was. And sure enough minutes later, she heard his voice, and her heart seemed to swell. “Killian!” she smiled as she turned to face him once he had reached her. “I finally found you”

“Well considering I’m going to be really big in like five months” she admitted with a laugh.

Phillip froze, not sure on how to proceed. Due to nerves, he hadn’t gotten around to reading the girls files, leaving him with no information about the girl in front of him. He worried that if he asked for her name, she’d become offended. “What do you think of the castle?” He asks, no longer able to stay silent. 

She could sense it, the change in his being, it wasn’t openly noticeable but it was something she herself had experienced in the past. Forgetting a name, or the profession of someone who was trying to get in good with her father. Still, this was the prince, and to win this whole ordeal, you had to be appealing. So being accommodating would not be bad, right? “It’s an honor to meet you, Prince Phillip. I am Aurora Ellison” when he asked about the castle, she smiled yet again, “It’s a rather wonderful sight, even more spectacular than I pictured it to be” 

This was every little girl’s dream, being chosen for the selection was meant to be an honor. Possibly marrying the prince was a bigger honor in her opinion, but of course she’d never say that out loud. After all her father was an influential politician, and if she were to voice that she, just like any other little girl, often dreamed of marrying the prince, well it wasn’t the image she was expected to project. So she had to keep a very calm facade even if she were not feeling exactly calm. As they lined up to meet the prince, she smiled at him, “Hello”. It took her a moment to realize that everyone was staring, something she was used to of course, but now it felt different.
