Yeah...I mean, we had some good times too that didn’t involve sex.  I think that why I liked you was because it wasn’t heavy; I didn’t want that.  You do?  Why?  So...does that mean Violet still likes Caleb?

I hate St. Patrick’s Day.  Like...a lot.  I always forgot to wear green, and kids pinch hard.  I would have bruises the next day every year.

It just...wasn’t safe, and it’s still not, but I’m tired of hiding.  Breaking up with you was me being a coward.

Davis: Is that what you want?

Davis: You're kind of twisting what I said, Caleb...I didn't say anything about not feeling like it's safe for you to exist. But someone threatened TO KILL YOU, Caleb. They threatened to kill you because of me. Think about how you'd feel if the roles were reversed.

I won’t deny that.  And I didn’t lose my balls because for me it takes balls to be in any sort of relationship like this.  There’s a reason why I ended things with us, and it had nothing to do with you.  Trust me.

I guess that I knew what I was getting myself into, and I can’t say it was bad.  Fine.  Thus far, you’re the best for me.  Happy?  He’s not lame.  And he’s not my boyfriend I don’t think.  Maybe.  I don’t know.  I just know I like him.

Davis: I mean, I would understand if it were too much for you.

Yes...there was, but that was basically all our relationship was.  Plus there were other reasons to end it...it wasn’t anything you did though, honestly.  If I say you’re the best, will you stop talking about it?  Why is it unfortunate?

“I read something once that frozen turkeys at Thanksgiving are technically fresher than the not frozen ‘fresh’ ones,” Davis replied.  “Something about how they freeze them right away whereas the not frozen ones sit out instead of being in a frozen stasis.  So maybe the same is true for fruit?”  Smirking at Melody, he added, “But apart from my protein shakes, I prefer my fruit fresh anyway.  I just like the frozen fruit because it makes the shake like a smoothie.”  Nodding, he began to walk with Melody as they looked around the store.  “Pretty much everyday,” Davis replied honestly.  “Part of it’s stress relief, and part of it...isn’t.”  He didn’t elaborate, but the truth was that it was partially for protection.  “That might not be a bad idea,” Davis told Melody.

I actually am not looking to get laid, not from you at least, Christian despite how good you are.  I’m seeing someone actually.  Well...sort of.  I don’t know exactly what it is yet.

Davis: I know this is a shitty way to tell you, but I'm scared he'll be watching and lash out for me not listening. I don't want to listen to him though, I'm just scared.

Davis: If you hurt him, I'm making a promise right here and now that I will hunt you down and do you in myself. There'll be no trial for you, no jail, just a hole in the ground. You have my word on that.
