I don't know how to say goodbye to you.

firstly, a nation should never have to beg for help when their innocent civilians are being murdered on the streets. it’s the decent human thing to do to help in whatever way we can because otherwise, what’s the point of it all if we’re willing to let entire countries of people die?

secondly, people either forget or aren’t aware that ukraine has always risen to the occasion and helped when asked. for example, a lot of people don’t realize that ukraine did more than their fair share helping evacuate people out of afghanistan. unlike quite a few countries who only focused on evacuating their own civilians, ukraine also helped rescue activists and afghan children and women. Also, ukraine has consistently contributed to un peacekeeping missions even in the last eight years when war has been raging in their country.
