“ lame? i find that very hard to believe, ” he hurried to follow noah without waiting for a response to his comment, smiling gently as he muttered ‘excuse me’s’ and ‘pardons’ as he navigated through the throng of people that had crammed themselves into the bar. “ i’m willing to let you decide where we go next, considering my idea was just a little bit of a bust. ” he held his index finger and thumb on his free hand incredibly close together and grinned. he wasn’t all that upset that going to the bar hadn’t been his most successful idea considering it had led them here, to being able to spend that much more time really getting to know the boy in front of him. he was the sort of person who craved connection and the idea that he might be able to foster one with noah was much too exciting a prospect to pass up. “ what’re your favorite things to do, then? if you’re so ‘lame’. ” he made dramatic air quotes with his free hand as he hurried to catch up and walk at noah’s side. he had a difficult time believing that anything the other man might be interested in would be even remotely boring. “ i’ve been known to read gray’s anatomy for fun, and i’m talking about the textbook. so, i’m pretty sure nothing you could do is gonna be dorkier than that. ”

"I am lame, like super lame" he giggled softly. As he heard how the other apologized to people he walked into, he was charmed to say the least. Looking up at him, he felt butterflies in his stomach and he nodded. "M-Maybe we could go to my place? That way we can actually be alone and I could make us a salad?" Interally cringing at the mention of a salad, he sighed heavily. He just felt the need to be close to him, normally he wasn't like that at all. He only wanted to be close to people he knew but Spencer, he was different. And he liked that. It was a welcomed change. And to have him all for himself, now that sounds like heaven to the tiny Australian boy. "Reading about space stuff. Adopting animals and naming them after spacey things and going to museums. I wanna work with space, it's my dream. But I also wanna be a painter so I am pretty torn right now" he rambled. A loud gasp left him as he nudged him. "You are not a dork! And if you are, you're like the most dreamy dork I have ever seen and I have met a lot of dorks.." as he realized what he had just said, his cheeks heated up and he looked down.
