Second Wolfblood sketch is ready. This one's based on Season 1, Episode 5: Occam's Razor during Maddy's first transformation. It's a gorgeous moment and one of the most remembered among the Maddian fandom.

Making this drawing was particularly hard because of the faces. I didn't want to obsess over making extremely accurate portraits (my priority here is the narrative), but a sin many artists make (me included) is perfectionism. Sometimes, what we do is never good enough, and that can really mess with our heads. In the end, I tried to capture their most characteristic features: their hairstyles, Maddy's upturned nose, Rhydian's forhead scar...

It's funny: I'm not used with drawing animals, and I haven't drawn a wolf in years. But in this case, that's what I struggled less with :)

Never got over Wolfblood. More specifically, never got over Maddy an d Rhydian. Don't care if it's been more than a decade. Which is why I decided to run a series of sketches, based on the most iconic Maddian moments, and this is the first one. Based on Season 1 Episode 7, "Dark moon", when Maddy and Rhydian leave a school trophy above the gym roof before the new moon.
