One thing that frustrates me is that I know a lot about fashion and I work tremendously to prove it. But yet one person who knows a little more gets to tell me I'm not qualified enough. Sad thing is that's what stays on my mind. The doubt. Not the hours I've dedicated to studying how a fabric moves and why fringe is going to be in. Cheers To A New Year!

Dear Readers,

Okay, first of all Happy New Year loves!! I hope that this year brings you everything you dream of and more. Whether its love, better finances, inner happiness, friendships, of course fitness or just peace. I feel that as we grow we tend to take our goals a bit more serious, maybe its our own personal maturity of maybe just because its time to stop being so lazy. All I know is that this year I have set up a few goals of my own.

I think where we fail as individuals is we come up with outrageous goals, "I'm going to lose 200 pounds.." or "I'm going to get married, but first I have to find a partner.". I can tell you from personal experience, NO, that's not how it works. Instead this year I decided to make something a little more attainable. Here are mine for 2016:

1. Be more active and lose 10 pounds. As time goes on Ill add maybe 5 more and so on and so forth so it doesn't feel so hard.

2. Drink more water: as we all know a major key factor in health is to stay hydrated and I unfortunately don't really like water "per say" I drink it from time to time but as DJ Khaled says I need to drink water for major success because they don't want you to drink water.

3. Make my blog a priority as well as focus on my daughter joining the fashion world. I love to write and take pictures and I seem to have lost that for a little while. BUT believe me there is more coming. Me and my team have created an office where I can work on taking more pictures and keeping my blog up to date. So be on the look out!!!

Remember, the only person that can tell you to stop trying and to give up is yourself so never feel like its over. Its a funny comparison but right not Mackenzie is in the process of learning to walk and she's taking steps but I noticed she's afraid to fall. But just as we learn we must not be afraid to fall or fail because with practice makes perfect. We just have to take it one step at a time.

So now my readers, I want to hear from you! Send me all your resolutions and ideas for a better you this year. I look forward to reading all of your goals and even more to see the progress you make throughout the year.
