The current most popular theory about Ralsei is that they're some kind of titan due to their ability to interact with the lightworld ( opening the great doors ) but something that hasn't been explained is how Ralsei looks so much like a dreemur besides being directly stated that they aren't by Kris , and yet at the same time been seen multiple times that characters think Asriel/Toriel and Ralsei look alike (Susie Noelle and Asgore mentions that they look similar at first sight , but not at all when getting a closer look at them , so he technically counts too) so i want to propose this theory , Kris used to wear a red headband with horns to resemble their family and they're often seen acting like a dog and they also wear dog costumes in the darkworld , these have always been interpreted as showing that Kris doesn't like being a human , something that i personally agree with , so what if the broken dream to be a monster and fit in the town caused a shadowcrystal to form and in someway it influenced what Ralsei's body would be like? obviously shadow crystals are the very specific outliars that don't change from lightworld to darkworld , but its possible that a shadow crystal affected Ralsei in someway if one were to have formed in by Kris's desire to be a monster , they also have the same color pallate as the titans and the knight is litteraly covered in them so there must be some relation there . and while this theory doesn't really have a "final nail in the coffin" type of big piece of evidence , it's also a valid interpretation of why Ralsei is an "impossibility" in Flowery's eyes , since the crystals SHOULDN'T become darkners (even if that comment could mean litteraly anything)
