So a lot of leagues have implemented the VAR (video assistant referee) and they’re using it but La Liga isn’t one of those. Javier Tebas, La Liga president, has said that the VAR isn’t implemented in La Liga because the Spanish Federation didn’t want to. The Spanish Fed is ruled by Angel María Villar, who recently spent a couple of days in jail for a lot of fraud/shady issues.

Leganés-Alaves. Leganes scores the only goal of the match in a clear off-side position. The match ended 1-0.

Real Sociedad - Celta de Vigo: Minute 87. A Celta defender fouls Carlos Vela outside the box. The ref decides it’s a penalty and Real Sociedad scores the final 2-3.

Girona - Atlético de Madrid: With 2-0 down Antoine Griezmann is fouled inside the box. Instead of a penalty, what Antoine receives is a yellow card for diving. The bad reaction of Antoine towards the ref made him see a red card, leaving Atleti with 10 players in the minute 65. The match ended 2-2.

Sevilla - Espanyol: Sevilla scored this goal. None of the slow-mo’s could tell if that ball was completely inside the goal or not as there wasn’t any camera alligned properly. The match ended 1-1.

Athletic - Getafe: Same problem, different ending. Getafe ‘scored’ this goal. The referee said the ball hadn’t gone through completely. The match ended 0-0.

Barcelona - Betis: With 0-0 in the scoreboard, Betis scored an own goal. In the action, Messi who almost touched the ball, was off-side. The match ended 2-0.

Deportivo - Real Madrid. While winning 0-2, Sergio Ramos did this to a rival. He only got a yellow card instead of a red. In a posterior action, he saves Deportivo’s goal when the ball was out of Keylor’s reach. The match ended 0-3 and Ramos ended up sent off because of a second yellow card.
