As part of this strategic partnership, APJII is enhancing coverage of the Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) in Greater Jakarta by launching a new IIX node at BDx Indonesia’s CGK 3A campus in Southern Jakarta. This initiative aims to establish the campus as the digital hub for internet traffic exchange, thereby boosting the resilience and efficiency of the region’s digital infrastructure. The presence of IIX at CGK 3A campus will provide a platform for developing a carrier-neutral interconnection ecosystem in Indonesia, addressing the high bandwidth and low latency demands of modern applications.

BDx Indonesia, a joint venture between Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH), Lintasarta, and BDx Data Centers (BDx), has recently launched an AI data center park in Indonesia.

The phase 1 deployment of the renewable energy-powered CGK4 AI campus is equipped with NVIDIA’s AI and accelerated computing platform. Guided by the spirit of Gotong Royong, this collaboration is dedicated to advancing the country’s vision of becoming an AI-first nation.
