While everyone is currently into ilitw mc x noah angst i'm still hanging on to the jane and noah angst

Who doesn't love sibings right

Can picture Noah crying over Jane everyday because of sibling love but not over ilitw mc bc of love

Remorse over ilitw mc is more in the sense of 'i killed a person that tried to help me' guilt instead of 'i killed my lover' angst

Since to Noah, mc is the same as the rest of the gang. To Noah mc is just another kid from the group he played with ten or so years ago. Mc is special to him in the sense that (to put it somewhat rudely) they seemed nosy of his private business, but in the end they were the only person that tried to help him

Mc suffered the consequence of trying to revive Jane for him. Noah owes them a life wether they died for him or not. If noah wound up killing mc then add more guilt to the whole thing

While mc might love noah (since who doesn't love an angsty boy) i don't think noah would have overly special romantic feelings for mc. Also he said he's not in the mood for dating and i don't think his attitude toward that would change within 2 weeks

So if i ship mc x Noah then it's mc crushing on him and Noah having no clue

i dont think noah had romantic feelings for them during ilitw or before but there’s a possibility that feelings could develop during the 2 years between the end of ilitw and ilb but he wouldn’t be able to distinguish it with all the guilt and being focused on trying to bring them back and seeing them as a friend that he hurt

like you said their relationship in ilitw is more like mc is the one who tries most to be nice to him and offer support and i think that would mean a lot to him. and it could be viewed as he started to crush on them because of that. maybe they even hung out more as kids because of jane ? so he was always a little closer to them?? but thats just a thought lol (tho i do think its funny that he was jealous of them and jane)
