* ââ ⥠â âą Â did you see that ? it was that SENIOR , DASHIELL âDASHâ LENEAVE in the library !  you know that their parents are AN OWNER OF A CAR AUCTION ENTERPRISE AND A FRENCH SOCIALITE right, thatâs kind cool.  i donât know about you but whenever i see them i think of CRUMPLED UP BLUE JEANS DISCARDED IN A CHAIR, GOLD RINGS ADORNING LITHE FINGERS, & A TOUCH OF MISCHIEF AND MAGIC and the fact that people describe them as VIVACIOUS & DEGAGE just make me want to get to know them more !  â ⸠penned by whit â21 âeastern âshe/her.
howdy² đ¤  â hello hello, my friends! frankly, iâve written about a thousand introductions and frankly theyâve grown a bit trite, so, not to have a game master moment (but to have a total game master moment), iâm going to flip this particular âintroâ on its head and do it entirely different...Â
...by not doing an intro at all. no, everything i will be describing about darling dash should be taken with a grain of salt, because this intro will be modeled to the premise of: what would you know about them if you didnât know them? I figured this would be more realistic as an âintroductionâ, i.e., if you are not familiar with a person but remain in close quarters (like how iâd imagine a lot of the muses here would be with dash) most everything youâd likely know would be caught through wisps of circulating gossip, observation, or simply through asking others. some of these points may be true, some fabricated, some a straight out lie, but i do like the idea that there will only be fleeting or ruminating ideas about him and can be explored/discussed through interactions. granted, iâd think heâd have a few friends whether NPCs or not at the moment that would know more about him, but that can be sorted later.

without further ado,Â
heâs fairly new here, a transfer that came over just last semester, although ceased to really âhang aroundâ during the breaks and holidaysÂ
heâs 6â˛3âł, maybe 6â˛4âł, and when he walks he tends to lean a little more to his right side
known for a notorious smile and dimples
his family is acquainted with the arnaults, as in bernard arnault, the CE of louis vuittonÂ
his motherâumâmost definitely could be described as promiscuous
he has a sister, older
âeccentric, young alain delonâ
heâs a romantic at heart, a real âwine her and diner herâ, but on the other edge of that sword heâs as blunt as an old kitchen knife
is on the fencing team? or was it the swim team? regardless, heâs built for either
he keeps a tidy, leafy, eclectic room; his prized possession is unassumingly an old, wooden victrola record player
âopen mind, open heart, and a mouth that wonât f*cking closeâ
inquiry is his middle name, and he lives for good conversation
his accent has a hint of something foreign in it, but it could just be the busy childhood he had always going and going
at the very least, through the plain-spoken moments he has, he knows when it is time to mind his own business
he likes his jewelry as much as he likes the company of his women
heâs frequently spotted with books, but nothing about his demeanor would really give you an inkling of indication that he actually reads it
heâs well traveledâ it oozes from him, and he absorbed his manners that were taught at a young age

She was quite hard to miss. Small stature, hair that could only remind him of Bridget Bardot, and eyes like Bette Davisâ a bit, as one might say, très angĂŠlique. Their interactions had been lingering but faint thus far, as much as a conversation at a party could be or a chat during a busy afternoon on the quad. Regardless, he felt compelled to approach her, spotting her in the library cafe after class, lingering at the end of the line. He quickly claimed a spot behind her, no feat perhaps easier for a man of his stature, legs abundant, an unintentional edge he or anyone of his size had. Gazes lingered, women, sometimes even men would stare. He knew this. Though, if anyone was looking at him now it wouldnât have been something heâd notice. His eyes were on her, arms crossed, jaw slackened, âBeck, right?â He knew her name, although a bit of slack as far as his knowledge went couldnât hurt, âLong time, no see,â He officially greeted, stepping to her side, ââ How are you? And, just as importantly,â Dash began, nodding towards the order counter, smiling, âWhat are we getting today?â
itâs not quite the same as his penthouse affairs, where the low hum of the musicâs scintillating bass rattled garlands of crystals draped on ostentatious statues, but itâll do. thereâs music, anyways, and plenty of bodies to spike maverickâs pulse to the level of excitement he frequently chases. thereâs alcohol as well, flowing in an abundance heâs sure that even a pretentious school like belvedere would frown upon. itâs worth the risk of a mark on his record, though, and so the partyboy carries on. heâs about to go and interrupt a coupleâs intimate whisperings, mouth on neck moreso than ear, when his wine tinted gaze falls upon dash. lips curl into a smirk and maverick reroutes. parties tended to be that much more fun when dash was around. he plucks an unknown drink off a nearby surface and steals another right from someoneâs hand as he passes, no concern for the affronted huff. heâs the host; heâs invincible. the borrowed beverage he claims for his own but holds the new one out to his friend. âneed a refreshment?â he all but purrs, barely heard over the pounding beat. âglad you made it over â hadnât seen you yet and i was getting worried!âÂ
What day was it? A Thursday? A Saturday? Did it even matter? A bar didnât run on the formalities of a clock until it closed, and this one was still very much alive. Lights sprinkled across a dance floor that a DJ presided in; chatter competed with the loud score and booze circulated. And then there Dash stood, leaned against the bar, chatting to the tender, a womanâ with natural, lush red curls, and freckles resembling constellations across her nose, worthy of counting. She was cute and she didnât know it. In a matter of a few minutes heâd found himself leaned over, palm supporting his chin, in queue for a drink that was to be of her own choosing. His finger tapped against the hard wood, his dark eyes lingered on her as she bent down to grabâ âNeed a refreshment?â. Slowly lulled from his busied thoughts, he turned to the familiar voice, a smile abundant, for he had already figured who it could be, âWhat a doll you are, fetching me a drink,â He teased, reaching out to take the drink, but not before tapping the glass against his dear friendâs own cup, âYouâve been thinking of me, hm? Thatâs cute. With my radiant integrity in mind, I'd think you'd know that if I werenât coming Iâd at least have the decency to tell you. Though, I canât think of any reason I wouldn't show.â A âreasonâ. A girl, no doubt, as if there was anything else that could tame a young man. He continued with his simper-laced taunt, good rapport abound before he took an initial sip of his drink. Dash glanced around, briefly now growing more earnest as he settled in beside the other, his elbows resting on the bar behind him, â... So, my friend, whatâs the plan for tonight? Or are we waiting for one to find us?â
she was done with classes for today , have she survive through the last five minutes of this one - sheâd be a free woman soon . and alas , they are dismissed and in a hurry , the femme stands up to walk away from the room . lu was an extraordinary student , with a gpa most find impossible to achieve , but as good as a student she was - she was double the party girl . and a party awaited . head was full with possible outfits that would make faces green with envy and jaw drop in awe , until she feels someoneâs touch on her forearm and senses come back to the present . chatter fills in hear ears and allura finds herself zoning out for a second while she turns to face the intruder and settle in her new reality . â guess you meant to say brilliant , but i guess i can accept clever too .. â purrs , hand moving to gracefully move away a brunette curl from her shoulder to her back while hues take in the manâs features . lu was a woman that appreciates art , and dash , to her , fell under the same category . handsome man .. and she would approach , if it wasnât for the way he irritated her . a scoffs falls from her glossed lips at the mention of the group projects assigned earlier this semester . â not really . i never do partners , iâm pretty fine on my own . â lu answers honestly , yet head bops to the side & she shots the male a smirk . â is this a way to weasel yourself a quick â a â by partnering with me , or are you wondering if iâll be beating your ass on my own ? â
Oh, the flagrant conceit of her wordsâ not that it was a rarity amongst these halls, even with himself. Dashiell had his moments too. At least she was sharp about it. Her words didnât drag out into imbecility like with some others, they cut with precision, like arrows, or tacks. She didnât do partners. So, she was independent. He liked that, although anyone with sense knew that the heights you could climb while being autonomous came also with the chance of falling. Independence would eventually succumb to loneliness, it was only a matter of meeting the threshold. Was she lonely? Silly. A silly thought. How could she be, after all, clearly top of the class, platinum cards, anything she wanted. He smirked at her, and then glanced down, and if one didnât know him any better theyâd think he was being bashful, âI never said anything about being your partner, did I?â He looked up and paused a beat and only a beat, not needing an answer, âBut, that is a good idea. Brilliant, actually,â He repeated that word, the one she had chosen, smiling, his lightly laden, and rather ambiguous accent flitting about in his sentences, âI wonât speak for anyone else in the class, but, I think you and I together could convince the room that even a couple of tabloids held the significance of the Magna Carta.â His head leaned slightly to the side as he inspected the rest of her subtly, âI like your way with words. Mine could bolster them.â

Official formalities had yet to find fruition between him and the girl who sat directly in front of him. Of course, theyâd spoken under marginal circumstancesâ during the class icebreakers and briefly every time the professor directed them to briefly discuss with those in their vicinity. Allura. He had not forgotten her name though, mostly with the irony it held. Alluring Allura, not to mention how often her name fluttered between the boysâ conversation at this school. Though, that charmless alliteration nor would that fact never leave his lips in front of her so long as he could help it. The cards had to be held close to oneâs chest ever best he could when it came to the art of knowing a woman. Or, so Dash liked to think. Class was being dismissed, and this time he managed to catch up with her as she was leaving. He allowed his hand, carrying a book to extend out in a way that his knuckles grazed the back of her forearm, âHey, you,â He greeted, smiling in a way that kept his notorious, crescent dimple at bay, âYou gave a charmed presentation today. That conclusion was... Clever,â He admitted, smirking and stalling, looking down at her now as his gaze scanned her features, âYou given any thought to that âpartner projectâ yet?â
a loud yawn passes artemisâ lips , the femme murmuring out a quick sorry to her peers that surrounded her . studying is something that she had managed the ace while in high school , but right now , all those tactics that had helped her are seemingly useless as she stares at the document full of notes and her lab findings .Â
slowly closing the screen of her laptop , and packing up her belongings , artemis had admittedly not been paying attention as she made her way out of the library . cursing under her breath as her phone flies from her hand as she collides with someone . â i am so sorry ! â her words are still quiet , moving to go and grab her phone off the floor . â i really shouldâve been paying attention , i , uh , sorry ! â  /  @elitesinfo¡
To be frank, he despised the school library. Not for the books, but for the people sitting around in silence, most staring at laptops and tablets and phones. He felt this shamed the very intent of a library itself. Now, he wouldâve been the first to acknowledge this pretentious thought but still the first to defend it. He despised the school library. But, not the cafe that was in the belly of it, no, he found it to be a nice, brisk stop, halfway between his first and second class of the day, nevermind its location. He reached out to push on the handle, the other person directly on the side of it disguised by the glare of the sun, and thus, and unintended target as she opened the door and stepped out, directly into him.Â
Her phone fell, onto the pavement, and as quick as it had landed so did his long, adroit fingers go to fetch it. Heâd beat her to it, the both standing up together, almost in uncanny cadence, âIâm sorry,â He corrected, handing it back, a small smile reaching his lips as he briefly inspected her. Tall, pretty lips, big brown eyesâ his head slightly cocked to the side, as if trying to figure her out, âYou seem rushed. Well, at the very least distracted.â Dash noted, albeit speculative he let out a small laugh, and then a bit softer, âEverything okay?â
âJust got back from a visit with the grandparents, it was fine and all but they kept bugging me about my hair. Saying its too long, asking whenâs the cut. Anyway I couldnât convince them of my style. Iâm open to your thoughts though, if you got suggestions?â @elitesinfo¡
âWould they ever dare shear a stallion? No, my friend, no they would not,â He retorted, his tone chummy, his words plucked, his smile, oh-so debonair, âHold onto the coastal surfer hair. Foreign is fetching, and Iâm sure thereâs a niche here for 'Mr. California'.â
