The Hannibal books all kind of have these glum endings. SOTL gets the closest to a happy ending with Clarice snuggled up with her new boyfriend, resting in the silence of the lambs, but there’s still a note that she’s in for it, that her mouth is going to get her into trouble (and it does) and that any peace she finds is only temporary. 

I guess you could say Hannibal has a happy ending, but don’t even get me started on that book. 

Red Dragon’s ending is glum because you know the Grahams’ marriage is doomed—Will knows it, anyway, and he’s seldom wrong—and he’s been stabbed in the face and all that. It’s a somewhat ambiguous ending, but the ambiguity goes away when it’s mentioned in SOTL that he’s living his life out as a drunk in Florida with a face like a goddamned Picasso. 

Even so, the Shiloh scene gives me a certain sense that Graham has found some small sense of peace at least with himself and his ability to understand murder, even if he can’t fix his face, overcome his addiction, or rekindle the love in his marriage. 

So, okay…this scene has a lot packed into it, short as it is, so there’s basically three things I want to examine.

Esto me llamo la atención y luego en Netflix descubri que habia una serie de ella, donde va a casas de personas y las ayuda a organizar. Me gusto su método y quise compartir algunos de sus consejos con ustedes. Quien sabe. Siempre se aprende algo 😉

They all give off a very moody and dark vibe. Sure these are only a small sample of promotional images, but the majority of them all have the Doctor brooding or serious, running away from danger, the backgrounds very dark to symbolise that there is danger coming.

And then we get to the 13th Doctor….

Her promotional images are light, carefree, and full of colour. She’s depicted smiling and warm, whereas her previous incarnations were usually frowning.

Look, I appreciate what you guys have been doing to prevent closing the bridge, even if it’s a long shot.

The truth is I like coming over here.

Especially after it rains.
