My manager at work got me into She-ra because we were discussing ATLA and I literally would get so heated in discussion after I finished it about Catradora that I had to revive my tumblr to have people who agree that Catra was a shitty, irredeemable person whose entire redepemtion arc was "I'm a lesbian uwu" and people have the AUDACITY to argue whether Catra or Zuko had a better redepemdtion. Y'all think I fascist abuser who spent the better part of 4 season trying to destroy the world and all that Adora loves because "she abandoned me" and NEVER actually dealt with their abuse, had any moral dilemma, or actual apologized, had a better redemption than someone who spent the entire 2 season prior actually having an internal and external battle about what is right or wrong, literally dealt with the abuse that led them to be shitty, and actually apologized and redeemed himself? Been bingeing She-Ra and I'm finally on Season 5 but I got spoiled back in Season 1 about the ending so... is it bad I still hate Catra? She showed no remorse for nearly destroying reality, for sending Entrapda to what she assumed was her death, abused Adora and her 'friends' in the horde Like Scorpia, Kyle, Lonnie and Rogelio... and yet I'm supposed to feel bad for her come Season 5?

Everything that had happened as been of Catra's own creation, her own actions drove Adora away, drove Scorpia away, nearly killed Entrapda and did end up killing Angella.

But because she's lonely and 'cares' about Adora (despite trying to kill her multiple times and dropping off a cliff, nearly destroying all of reality over not wanting to be in her shadow) we are meant to ship them?

So why do I care more about Hordax finding Entrapda again and their whole sort of love story (I guess) than Catra doing a 180° and claiming to love the girl she has gas lighted and abused throughout the whole show because they were childhood friends??

Why can I can forgive Glimmer, who did bad things albeit for a good reason and while under a lot of stress over her mom being dead and then being a teenage queen of a rebellion that is losing a huge war with hundreds of lives and everything she loves on the line... but not Catra who wanted others to suffer because she was abused, because her friend got out of a toxic abusive situation and 'abandoned' her despite trying to convince her to come, only to then decide that that friend was the reason her life was so bad despite only trying to help her and her way to seek revenge was to commit mass homicide and ruin hundreds of lives and nearly destroy reality because of her abuse and how her friend seemed to be less abused despite the fact that they were children raised in a toxic empirical setting??

Why am I expected to care about her again?

Can someone please explain because I just hate her.
