Hello there, stranger! You’re right there. Come on over and sit down with me. Now now, any conversation is decent when it involves wine, let’s be real.

Don’t let me get too comfortable, I might never get up. Man, I’ve had a crazy week. We just started shooting The Alchemist, it’s going to be incredible, I can feel it in my bones.

Words can not express how tired I am from moving and by moving I mean watching a few men unload the truck. Boxes are littered everywhere and all I can think about is sushi and binge watching Netflix. The real question is do I hire people to unpack for me or actually be productive myself? I’m leaning towards the former. Anyway, I’m Katie and, for the record, I’m still disappointed I’m not gossip girl. 

You should definitely hire people to do it, if you’re anything like me you can’t rely on your own motivation. I still have a couple of boxes that have been left untouched since my move. Katie, it’s a pleasure, I’m Darren.  I can’t manage to get my own shit done but I’d be more than happy to help you get unpacked if you need it.

The word “stan” has officially been added to the Oxford English Dictionary as both a verb and a noun… I’m not sure how I feel about that, yet. Apart from amused. What do you think will be the next pop culture word added?

I know what it means in context but what is the official definition? Where does it come from? Somebody told me it was a reference to the Eminem song “Stan” but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

It’s kind of sad to realize that the person you loved so much wasn’t made for you, despite what you thought. You gave your all and you were sure they did the same thing, but then they leave in return. Breakups are so tough to handle. I never handle them well. I usually go out and party and try to numb the pain until I become a complete different person. But drinks and karaoke do sound good.

I don’t know if anybody is really made for anybody else, I doubt any one person is made for any one other person. There’s so many different kinds of people in the world, it’d be totally crazy if we had to find just one to perfectly match our own weirdness....but, yeah, breakups are still fuckin’ hard, they suck and they don’t really stop sucking until you’ve got something else to think about. So let’s give you something else to think about and have a damn good night.

A picnic in the park is just giving me a valid excuse to stuff my face with food. If anybody needs me I’ll be sat under a tree with a bottle of something.

Well hello there, long time no see.  A picnic in the park sounds like the perfect way to spend your day off- especially that last part. You want some company? I’m more than happy to supply the wine and a halfway decent conversation.

The day is finally here; our first day of shooting ‘The Alchemist’ and I have been awake since before 4am, not able to sleep. I am so excited and super looking forward to working with a couple of familiar faces on this project, but also getting to work with some new faces, and make some new connections. Expect the littlest bird on set with me today, she hasn’t slept much, so will hopefully be sleeping for the most part!

Hey, you’re not the only one. I was so hyped last night, I hardly caught a wink. I’m not feeling it this morning though, I’m full of energy and raring to go. How are you feeling about everything? I think it’s gonna be great.
